Bought a DB7 Vantage Convertible 2 weeks ago and like it so far. The V-12 has alot of power and the ride is nice.

My 2 cents so far:

Likes:
Styling
Power (V-12)
Comfort
Suede leather headliner

Dislikes:
Always hit the wipers when turning of the car.
Boring steering wheel

An extremely nice GT car. The car exudes luxury. Aston makes some of the finest interiors. And then imagine that the DB9 will be an improvement! If you like the DB7GT, the prices may drop when the DB9 becomes available - if you can still find one.

I loved the DB7 Vantage, however it was not a Sportcar. Too heavy to be one or the brakes were too small , i dont know , but its a car to be enjoyed cruising and revving the engine to hear the sport exhaust.

I suppose the GT has better brakes and supsension set up .

Beautiful car, great sound , nice interior if a bit bland , esp that steering wheel .

You will get used to the parking brake soon enough. Just make sure you are holding the button as you lower it.

They're fantastic cars, although some will argue that now-Ford-ed, they have no soul.

Thinking about it?

i just test drove one, and wow. Power all over the place. Lots of torque, passing people is just too easy, you're at 100 before you can put your blinker back to the right. Beautiful ride and handling. Turn in is a bit slow, and a bit too much power steering for my taste, but its a grand tourer.

The only complaint I had, is that it too several tries to get the Parking brake off, and the power seat adjustments are hard to reach because they are nestled right behind the parking brake handle.

Other than that, the interior is immaculate. And even over rough roads there are no squeaks or rattles. Very well built car.

Vincent.
