You are probably right, I do not know the US laws. But here in switzerland, the system is the same as in the ferrari. In your situation, I supposed you cannot desactivate the airbag and it can be dangerous for your child... be carefull. |

Thanks Lionel, I see a blank off area bet the door and the console. I think in the US the NSTA does not allow this feature or Maserati elected not to provide this. |

I have a coupe but it is the same : you can turn off the right seat's airbag with your key on a swith near between the glove box and the right door. Then I used a standard child-seat (maxi-cosi) with the seat-belt. Then my two other childs used the rear seats (but without child-seat because they are taller and I'm lazy). It is only exceptional sometimes when my wife is working and I must drive the kids at the day-nursery. It is a practical car for 4 people but still not a familly car... |

Has anyone purchased a child booster seat for the front passenger seat? If so, how did you deactivate the airbags and what seat did you purchase? |
