''Maserati'' will change the Enzo shape a bit, I would think. But the Enzo could use some cleaning up anyway. Don't get me wrong. Its a great car! But has a moon-buggy shape from some angles- Less bubble shape in canopy and smother lines into rear vents could give Maserati it's own look. Sort of like TR to 512TR. Just clean it up. Now you have a Maserati that is faster, and better looking. Cheaper because its not a Ferrari. More expensice because of race hardware. So pice could stay the same $660,000. But with more on the market it helps the used car buyer 5 years from now |

Mark, I agree about the wing, its nice!! But I really don't know what to believe. I would find that weird if this ''Maserati'' supercar is faster than the Enzo and plus its street-legal. Maybe Ferrari are working on a Enzo GT to give their Ferrari clients the same kind of performance? Or maybe Ferrari are working on a new supercar faster than the future Maserati supercar. Anyway, Its nice to see Maserati building this new supercar. Can't wait to see it! About Lamborghini , they said they are going to built road legals R-GT. |

The question is .... will Maserati get a better car than the Ferrari guys got in an ENZO? An extra year of track development on the Maserati plus a wing means... if you bought an Enzo for the track (can't use its huge potential on the street, so it must be for some track use?)... you now have to deal with the fact that the Maserati will be a faster, better car. For the first time you will see Ferraris sold to buy a Maserati. LOL I love this so much. I have always known that you don't make the worlds greatest car and then lock it away at 400 units so it primarily functions as a financial-instrument of investment, rather than a real supercar. More enzo's coming keep production coming! Now for you label guys... would you rather have a faster, better, more reliable Maserati (with that BAD-A$$ cool wing)... or does having the Ferrari name-label plastic-letters on the back more important? My dream car could be a Maserati.... How things can change. Is the Lambo GT street legal? Porsche GT is. And if this Maserati is street legal...Then you have a new top-3. |

I agree Warren. When these Enzo buyers ordered their cars, they were ordering one of 399 built. Obviously that comes at a price, and people are willing to pay extra for the rarity. |

I think If I was one of the few who owned an Enzo I think I might be a Peed off to think you could buy the same car at I suspect a somewhat cheaper price or that they have effectively increased production of the Enzo therefore taking away some of the rareity value. ??????

Good question Vince. I don't think the maserati would sell if the price is the same.Although potential customers of such a car would probably know there basically buying a enzo. But for the same money wouldn't you rather say you own a ferrari? Although I do love the new maserati's. |

Hmmm interesting scenario - let's say these street legal 'Enzo's' are rebadged as Maserati 6000GT's. Will they sell even though they are essentially Enzo's? If it does not sell, then it really goes to show how valuable the name 'Ferrari' is when it comes to selling cars. Brings back memories of the 308GT4 when dealers put on the 'Ferrari' script so the cars would sell. |

Funny how the maserati has a ferrari badge on the front. I'm glad that wing wasn't on the production enzo. |
