Someone asked how it compares to the Enzo . . .?
I believe the new EVO mag is doing just that along with the Koniegsegg (however you spell it). I won't give away the article but they all got decent ratings.

Pagani Zonda is where Lamborghini should have gone. In fact Mr Pagani was employed by Lamborghini. Only if Lamborghini made the Canto and made it very light 2 wheel drive like the Zonda. But IMHO the zonda lacks heritage and has what I would call the biggest whore in the car Buisness making its engines. ( I am going to get it for the last remark)

Mark, the Zonda is certainly faster than the Murci, but not as much as the video from Top Gear would show. Jeremy Clarkson babied the clutch on the Murci, if he'd dumped it hard the Zonda would of been playing catch-up off the line. No doubt the Zonda is the faster car though.

Fit and finish on the car is fantastic. I would love to see one fitted with the new Amg Twin turbo motor pumping out 700hp. That would be the end all of all exotics. Unbeatable, with benz reliability.

From what I can tell Pagani is very serious, well financed, and will make the cars US legal. After my dinner I'll have a better idea. My friend drove his all over Europe and loves it. It's now in the US but only for show and display. When Mr. Pagani comes to NY I'll get a chance to drive one and will report. The fit and finish is very good.

Very cool. I have seen the Top Gear movie of Zonda blowing away a Murci. Very impressive though it's probably not a fair comparison since the Pagani is roughly twice as much $. What are your thoughts on the two? How about Zonda vs. Enzo?

Now I just have to win the lottery by next summer.

Mark, i have seen the Pagani in person in Ft Lauderdale. It is an incredible automobile. It was at a Ferrari dealer, and the salesman told me at one of the Ferrari meets it was destroying worked F40's.

I have heard the car will be legal for sale in the U.S. by next summer.

From this thread where it was seeming to be ignored with all the talk of Lambos, NOS and turbos.

quote:

My friend and Mechanic just got back from Savanha, GA. where he took another's friends Pagani at the behest of Pagani who has a connection with a local college of Design. Pagani was there as was his new spyder (Rossa?) Pagani's coming to NY at the end of the year and we're all going to have dinner. In real life the car is spectacular but a tad too cutting edge/tecno for my taste.

Mr. Glickenhaus

The Zonda is one of my favorite cars so I hope you don't mind a couple questions. Have you had a chance to drive a Zonda? I seem to recall reading there were four imported under show/display but haven't heard anything about approval for sale here. What can you tell us about the future of Pagani in the US?
