OK, I have the heads off and sent them away yesterday to be hot-tanked, polished and have 1 intake valve replaced, along with the valve seals. I'm going to re-jet the carbs, and we are also polishing the exhaust mani. I cannot wait to get her back together. I have treated the leather again with Leatherique and the interior looks and smells incredible. More info as the project progresses!

Well I treated all the leather yesterday....and lemme tell you this: you will need 2 bottles of Leatherique for this car. It must have 5 cows worth of leather in the car, its unbelievable. Everything is leather or suede and wood. It does dwarf the 308, as a matter of fact, the QP hides the 308 completely when looking from the side.

Yes Peter, we both knew I had to have another one. So I caved in...better yet, I had to buy it at the price it was aquired for. No one knows what it is, and they think it costs $80,000. Sure looks like it!! What a beauty!! Pics to follow soon!

Mitchell, It is a class ride. Kinda like the 400i, a classy piece but people just don't know what a work of art they are looking at. I like it and it is luxury personafied. Enjoy.

Wow, Mitchel, what a classy ride -- congratulations! I bet it dwarfs the 308 . Looking forward to the pics.

I just aquired a garage mate for the 308. I got a black/tan 1985 Maserati Quattroporte. ITS HUGE! But damn do I love those cars. This is my 3rd Quattroporte. Jeeez what a car. I'll be posting pics when I am done fixing her up. Right now, she needs both head gaskets replaced, and the bonnet needs paint. The interior is near perfect, it has no rust or body damage, brand new tires, wheels are all good. This car is a monster. Anyone else here have one?
