Yeah I totally agree. I would have thought that they could come up with something nicer looking that that for the Pantera. You can see some of the old Pantera lines in it, especially the rear end, but the front is horrible looking. The 1990s Panteras were so much nicer looking. Also, with the Diablo. You would think they could come up with something a little but more breaking away from the Diablo. Since it wont be out for a few years there is still hope that they will come up with something newer looking. Also, it appears that Lambo will be not only renewing their 12cylinder car, but adding a smaller, 360 Modena competition, 8cylinder car. Interesting. | ||

Finally got the April R&T, 10 days late down here. Both the Diablo & Pantera r disappointing. The Lambo cus it looks so much like the 10 yr old Diablo & the Pantera cus, well, its Fugly  The old GT5S was a lot better looking than that  | ||

Speaking of the enemy, Autoweek has a picture of the new VW, er, Bugatti W-16 (two narrow bank V-8's mated at the crank) turbo with AWD. Supposed to make 1001 HP an 960lb-ft torque. Hooofah. | ||

Pick up the April (just came today) Road & Track. The title article is European Supercar Sneak Preview. It features Porsche (oh the enemy), Lambo, Maserati, DeTomaso, VW, Mercedes, Jag, Bentley, and Edonis. Quality article, worth the $4 for the mag. R&T consistently comes through with great issues. | ||

The Pantera replacement is in AutoWeek in a recent issue. I'll try to dig it up (my sister gets them at work because she works for Mercedes) and then scan it. | ||

I spoke with a guy the other night thats with the Lamborghini club of America. He said that the club was supposed to go to Italy for the unveiling of the new lambo in June, but that it's been "post-poned again". He was a little disappointed. He said that the factory is not allowing tours right now because they want to keep it a secret til the end. Also mentioned that it will be shorter and wider and about 3500pounds with 600hp. Will be interesting to see when it comes out. | ||
