Its a shame, because essentially now, there is no difference between the designer sitting in the office in Detroit, than the one in Italy. Losing also the traditional skills of coachbuilding (although in todays world that amounts to just doing show cars, but none the less...) I find disappointing too. Oh well, "Another one bites the dust..."
