Dave, Sounds like some fun. I would like to do it but not having a Ferrari yet & working on Friday defeats my fun factor. Enjoy! |

Now, for some REALLY good stuff: some acquaintances of mine are arranging an Open Track Day on the 2.9 mile course at Texas World Speedway in College Station for Friday, Nov. 1, from 8-5. There will be limited instruction available, and there will also be a familiarization session for those who have never run this course before. But other than that, it is open track ALL DAY! One run group, unlimited straightaway passing (with point-by), run as many laps as you possibly can for one glorious day. 7 whole hours of wide open track time! The cost is $295. If we get 25 people or more, the cost will drop to $195. So far, we have about 19, I think. If you register at $295 & the cost then drops, you WILL get a $100 refund or credit for the next one (your choice). You MUST have a helmet. You MAY take a passenger on track. However, the passenger MUST also wear a helmet. To register, contact Ed Paez at [email protected] or at 713-952-0601. Send him the following information: Name: Phone Number: Car make and model: Method of Payment: Check or Credit Card (via PayPal, below) Have you ever attended a driving event at TWS?: Send checks payable to: Ed Paez 680 W. Sam Houston Parkway S. #3002 Houston, TX 77042 Ed has also set up a PayPal account. Go to www.paypal.com and enter his email address as payee, and you can use a credit card (at no additional cost). FYI, you may need to set up a PayPal account, if you don't already have one. They are also free & quick to establish. C'mon, Ferraristi! Let's get some great cars out there on Friday, Nov. 1 !!!!
