The seat on my 308QV is one notch from the back and the seat nearly touches the back shelf. I can see the tach and speedo fine, but really have to stretch to see the fuel and temp gauges. Should be a perfect weekend for driving! |

I can't see the top row warning lights, but I can see the tach and speed fine. I really pimp my seat back as much as I can though. |

I was sitting in a 328 at FoD and could see gauges fine. If I raised my head too much the dial became hidden like Tillman said. I didn't feel like I was laying down in the seat though. I had a friend who was long bodied and when in a 355 spyder his eyes were level with the top of the windshield. |

For those of you not present at the 'experiment' last night, we decided 2 things regarding Tillman and his gauge view. 1. Tillman has a very long body. 2. Someones steering wheel has been adjusted, but without a 3rd car to compare, we don't know which car it was. |

Jim, I spent some time this morning on the way to work trying to figure out how you _are_ seeing the gauges. You must be laying on your back in that car! Is everyone else reclined like they're in a Lazy-Boy chair? I tried that, but just couldn't get comfortable. |

Rob, was that you on 114 heading west thru Grapevine this afternoon at about 4:30? I was in a beautiful fly yellow Crown Victoria cab two cars behind (heading home from the airport). I kept asking the cab driver to step on it and catch up but he wouldn't go for it. I keep reading about Jim's dancing escapade... did anybody get that on film? |

I drove my car to work this morning and was sitting at a stoplight when I glanced down at the tach. It occurred to me that I have a full view of the tach and speedo and I wondered how Tillmans view could be so blocked. I started moving my head around, up, down, over, forward and back trying to find the location in space where the wheel blocked the gauges. I finally located that place and said to myself "OH!" and nodded my head. Then I looked out the window and the lady next to me was laughing her ass off at my gyrations. |

Oh ya, I don't have to fix it if it breaks. Go ahead and redline it, I always wondered if I got those belts on correctly! JUST KIDDING!!!! Glad to see you are enjoying it. |

Trust me, it spent most of the time droning along the freeways between Lewisville and Ft. Worth. 3000(ish) RPM in 5th. ZZZZ......sorta. I don't want to hurt it -- I can't afford to hurt it! |

Yep, in 2nd and 3rd. At least, I think it's redline. Just as I can't see the speedo between 40 and 120, I can't see the upper end of the tach. Ah well, I guess I'll have to live with it |

Wish I did. I think I am going to skip out of work a little early today to clean up my car. Later, I will probably go visit my brother in Lucas - at least there are some rural roads with little traffic and I can try out my new video camera mount. |

Nicer, anyway. Drove the car to work, going to try to get some playing in after work. Anyone know of any decent roads in the area?
