Karts are about the most ecconomical and also the most fun. When I was looking at racing, I first considered karting and then discovered how cheap it was to race real cars with Spec. RX7's. For anyone interested in joining Greg Scott and I in RX7's, here's the Texas site www.spec7.org. |

Anybody here belong to NT Karters? There is a sprint track in Denton where they race almost every weekend, and my brother and I were seriously considering buying shifter karts to run up there. Just trying to figure out what exactly to look into buying and finding out what class to start racing in. I thought this would be a bit cheaper than doing track days, and I might be able to learn something without worrying about crashing the Lotus or someone else's expensive ride. |
