I'll volunteer to pass it on to the Lotus group. Unfortunately, I'm going to miss this one since I'll be freezing my butt off in Denmark.

I warned him it was late notice, we need to invite all the other exotic type car clubs we can to arrive after 5pm or so. If you have a good contact in one of these clubs and want to pass the word, then let me know and I'll take that club off my list to call myself.

Hopefully Markus isn't coming for this event only? I'm not sure we can scare enough people to make it worthwhile at this point.

So you want to do another 6-7 pm at Carsons so Markus can participate?

I'll get the word out tomorrow and see what they can do for a table, otherwise we'll just hang out like we did last time. That worked well enough.

As you may know Playersrun has a party in Los Angeles at Barfly on the 13th.I will catch the plane on the 14th to make it down to Dallas but I will not make it before 4-5 pm on the 14th.
I will bring promo material with me and will answer any questions about the Playersrun. I will also be hurt from the big LA party, too ;o)

I would be up for either, however I have a wedding to attend that day and wouldn't be able to make it. How about Friday the 13th in the evening?

I don't know if I can make the 14th, but I'd favor the lunch plan

He has a Z that will kick all of our Ferrari's butts, except maybe the 1k hp Testa.

I need to wait to hear back from Markus. Unless you want to do this regardless of Players Run.

I still think a lunch time event would be good. Vote...

December 14th at Carsons

A) Late lunch 1 or 2pm (Daylight) and hang out as long as we want.

B) Dinner 7pm like last time.

Your right Jim, what's his number, let's call him. If he owns Carsons than he should be driving a Ferrari! Give me the info, I will call him

I can't help but think if we call the owner of Carsons and tell him we want to bring a sh1tload of nice cars to his place some Saturday in the near future, he'll be accomodating.

Carsons will be booked even at 7. If we go at 1-2 then we could get into the dinning area, or maybe even 4-5 at the latest.

Just do it like we did last time, start early, stay late! Maybe CJ would even renew our VIP memberships!

Yes, that would be better for Players Run too. I won't do this under the FCA umbrella as there's a conflict of interest, unless we could get them to donate to the South Central region.

What works as a better day? Saturday worked well before. Carsons will be crowded and booked at night, how about an early afternoon affair and then us die hards can stay later?

Couldn't we invite the Viper/NSX/Porch/Lotus/Whatever else clubs to the event as well?

Ok, Rob, I understand.

As for the 10th, that's the final for the Karting Challenge. Of course, we could start after the racing

Funny you mention that Sean, he told me last night he ran into you and your girlfriend at Two Rose. He didn't remember much except he was on beer 10 or so. Hopefully he didn't slobber all over your table, he does that now and then.

The 10th is probably too soon. Tillman, the reason it's worth their while to sponsor an exotic car night is to hopefully get people to sign up for their February event. The more there, the more possibilities to recruit. No hidden agenda besides that.

Count me as tentative... I have to install a new clutch before, plus I'm going on vacation at the end of next week. Anyone need anything from Denmark? (By the way, Rob - Greg met my girlfriend last week and can vouch for her existence)

What is Exotic Car Nights? Do you have to drive hot nookie girls around in your car and they buy you beer?

I'm in!

What do you mean by "worth their while?"

I'm interested, but curious about that phrasing.

Markus from Players Run talked to me today about a possible event this month in Dallas. It could be something like our first Exotic Car Nights. I think to really be worth their while we would need even more participants than we had the first time. They could even provide some resources to spice things up, Rob's $300 sponsorship last time won't happen again.

Who would be game, I know many already have plans with work parties and such.
