I just had a major service on my 308 done, and was very happy with James' work. Highly recommended.

972-831-8111, ask for James. Tell him Jim, Rob and Tillman sent you!

They did my 30k last year, I'm very happy with the results.

Could someone provide me with a contact name and telephone number of Norwood Performance? I would really appreciate the information. I would like to ask them about the 30k service on a 328.

I enjoyed working for FoD, good bunch of guys. Definitely the best job a college student like me could have had! I was their valet/detailer/tech aid for about 9 months in 2001.

You can get them to work on euro's, depending on the work needed. I know I remember working on a couple of Maranellos that were euro.

um, I think you may be mistaken. doesn't the # have to do with displacement of the engine. 3.60 litre upgraded to the maserati 4.20 litre? Not sure about the 456, but it is a 12 cylinder so 4.5 litre vs the 8 cyl 4.2 replacement.
But then again who knows as it is speculation at this point.

From what I have read (Forza), the 420 is a replacement for the 456, not the 360 .

I think it's a different list for the 420 Brian! They'll probably make you try to take the last 360 off the boat. :-)

FOD *will* perform any safety-related recalls on Euros... they don't want the liability of refusing to do those. And if you push hard, I suspect most non-cosmetic recalls could also be had.

BTW, I like FOD and all the people I've dealt with there... I just don't like their policy regarding Euros... especially since I'd have bought the car from them, if they'd sell me one... I've been on their waiting list for over 2 years. Maybe my time will come up by the time its a 420 Modena.

My 2000 360 Euro just had some campaigns completed at Ferrari of Houston. I had to pay for some things, but some of it was covered by the campaign. They were able to reboot the F1 computer and it was really not that big of a deal. It did not seem to matter to Houston that the car was a Euro, and I would expect the same from Ferrari of Dallas.

Rob, any US car is eligible for the recall if it hasn't already been done. Call and see if your SN is one of those affected.

I seem to recall there were actually 3 recalls on my car, I'll have to look. I'm sure I learned about them here though.

I don't know. I just called and asked about the recall, they asked for the serial number of my car and determined that it was still outstanding, and we scheduled the work. I don't think the origin of my car was discussed until afterwards when I was asking about other service records.

I believe that on a safety recall any authorized dealer is required to fix the vehicle. My truck has had several recalls done at the local Dodge dealership, and it wasn't originally sold there.

Tillman, will they only do the work because your car was bought from old owners of FOD?

Tell us the exact recall items they will do, I'm sure they get paid by the factory for this work, so they actually like it.

Jim,

Nothing yet, but I was scheduling the recall work on my 328. I was just highly impressed by the helpfulness of the service side, especially when they are speaking with someone they don't know asking for free repairs. :-)

I'll post again after the repair. It's scheduled in January by my request. I figured it's run ok for 15 years, another month won't hurt.

What was it James said... "We won't even acknowledge that its in the parking lot." :-(
To FOD, a Euro is not a Ferrari at all. ;)

Fortunately, Norwood Performance is an awesome Ferrari shop... and they'll happily service a Euro... they do mine. :-)

I am glad to hear that. Does anyone know what their policy is going to be on servicing Euro cars (360s)?

I just wanted to say that the service department at Ferrari of Dallas is very pleasant to work with. I had my issues with the sales department, but Mike at FoD was very pleasant on the phone and I'm happy with the experience.
