You should probably plan on an evening on 6th Street. Some of the best live music you'll ever hear. Drive out to the Oasis on Lake Travis and have lunch, or if you don't have that much time, eat at the Hula Hut on Lake Austin.

thanks, meeting some of you guys would be great - I need to get the dates but I will prob come in on a thurs or Fri and leave on Sun or Mon. I am a huge tex mex fan so I am looking forward to that and a few tecates

let us know when you are down here, maybe a mini-meet event would be in order and a drive out into the hill country for bbq.

otherwise, Austin isn't so much a place to visit for specific tourist things to see. however, there is the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue on Town Lake. many great eats, texmex, real mexican food. I suppose it all depends on how long you'll be staying.

look like I will be down in Austin in Mid April for a wedding, any must do's down that way.
