Rob, unfortunately, it looks like I may have to miss out on Norwood's and Jeff's new 550hp monster 348, but saturday looks pretty free for me after 11am or so, as well as sunday.

I'll just give you a ring when I get into town and we'll just play it by ear. Thanks...

B.

Ok, here's the deal, it's final...

Friday 4-5 pm at Norwoods

After that we'll meet at Humperdinks across Loop 12 for drinks, a little food, and maybe some pool. Last weekend when Greg, Jennie, and I were there it was Super Models night, so maybe we'll be that lucky again.

Byron, my cell is 817-874-1963. There's really nothing else planned this weekend, but give me a call to check if you're only available Saturday and Sunday.

Byron,

Friday night it looks like we'll be doing tour of Norwoods and doing a happy hour close by with Jeff Edison in town. Are you available then? I probably won't do much Sunday, but who knows.

I've been trying to clear the schedule, but it turns out that I'm working all day Saturday and Sunday is Super Bowl. Sorry about that. I'm sure Rob will be able to find something for you all to do.

Call me if you need bail :-)

Well, if some of you guys want to get together for Hooters, I'm game for that. Sunday lunch would be best... I heard they have good wings! :-)

Does someone have a local contact # that I may call once I get into town?

According to Mike, someone shot out their window and some others in the area. FoD uses thick dual pane glass, so the bullet didn't penetrate into the showroom.

I've decided that I want my garage to look just like theirs :-)

Sorry to butt in on this thread but I noticed that someone shattered FoD window? Damn, just this morning I had my front door & 3 large windows shot out by an air rifle or a BB gun. It appears some kids (wanna be gang bangers) are doing this all over west Houston. It cost me about $1400.00 to replace them but the insurance will help with that. BTW no cars were hurt & no items stolen.

I drove by FoD on Sunday about 1:30 and there were 2 folks there, then a porsche drove up with 2 guys and then a merc 430 with one guy and then a car with 2 more guys plus me.

So that is a bit of window shopping going on on a closed day.

They have a Tour de France Blue 575M in there too with the modular wheels. A nice silver 550 also. Love those. Also have a yellow porsche GT-2.

Byron. FOD is closed on Sundays. All the cars are inside but you can still peer through the windows if you want to make the drive. I was there on Saturday. Had the blue F50, a 333SP, a couple 355s, a yellow 360 Spider and a few 550s scattered about. If you really look hard, you might be able to see the Shumacher and Barrichello signed Vespas in the back.

By the way, the window by the front door was shattered with a bullet hole through it. Didn't look like any of the cars fell victim tho.

Hooters is one of our clients so we go to the Addison location for "customer research".

My Hooters passport! Got it yesterday w/ Tillman. If I get stamps from 20 Hooters in the next 12 months, I get a free wing party with 200 wings! That should feed at least 5 or 6 guys. We'll have a Ferrari day at Hooters!

ECW's showroom has been closed down. Evenings work better for me, but we'll see.

HAHAHA....ROTFLMAO fellas...

That's too funny, Rob!!! Jim...a passport? I didn't know they had passports to Hooters... Man... but judging by the "local talent" that I've seen in Dallas in the past, I'm not surprised that you would...hehe... it's like you're in a whole 'nother country... I need to immigrate!

Thanks for the tips, guys... I won't actually have a car there (though I can always rent one)... My meetings will keep me busy on Friday until saturday afternoon/early evening. I was thinking about stopping by FoD on Sunday and seeing some of there cars... What about Exotic Car World?

Lunch at Hooters sounds fun, though...hehe... down near the West End? Can anyone generous soul offer me a ride in their F?

If you're at the Arena, I hope you have a car or you will be BORED. Not much to do down there in the daytime on the weekends. I'd highly recommend driving to FOD. Nice place. Find your way to the Dallas North Tollway, Exit Park, turn left on Park. Park to Midway, left on Midway. Left again on International Parkway, FOD is down on the right. Maybe 25 min drive from downtown. When you're on Park heading towards Midway, stop at Lineback, check out their Ferraris. They always have 2 or 3. I think Norwoods is closed on Saturdays.

I might be able to swing lunch, depending on what my wife has planned for me. Anybody free? Maybe Hooters in Addison? I need the stamp in my passport!

Not sure about Ferrari events going on, but within walking distance from the AA Center is the 6th Floor museum and Conspiracy museums, if you are interested in the Kennedy assassination. The Dallas Museum of Art is also nearby. For showrooms, the new Ferrari of Dallas as Jim said, which is placed across the highway from the Porsche store, which is also close to Lineback - the new Panoz/Shelby dealership.

My weekend is free. I usually go out at least one night with Greg S. (TR). What is your availability? I would recommend the FOD. Unless you're in Friday, Norwoods will probably be closed over the weekend.

Hi everyone... I'll be visiting the DFW area this weekend for business and will be staying at the American Airlines Center... Does anyone know of any Ferrari-related events going on this Sunday? Otherwise, are there any must see/must visit showrooms or museums in the area? Unfortunately, I won't have my 348 with me, but would still love to meet some of the local Texas Ferraristi.

Lunch anyone?

Thanks,
Byron
