Thanks guys and relax. I did not want to start a war here! I will probably fly to El freakin Paso with a guy I can trust and use Redline's shop to get it up in the air. Hey, what are frequent flier miles for anyway, family vacations?

Mike, I hadn't answered because I don't know any El Paso contacts. However, for the price and potential headache of a classic V-12 I would pay to have it shipped to James at Norwoods for the PPI. Probably $700-800 for PPI and transport.

My boss hauls cars in Texas on the weekend for extra cash. Let me know if you're interested.

Randy,

I live in Cali, Bruce is in NJ, and Rob is in Dallas. I have spoken to them both. What's my point you maybe asking yourself. Location has NOTHING to do with contacts. So before your fire a shot across anyone's bow, think about that.

bruce, Texas is a big state. El Paso is a good 10 hours west of D/FW. =D its an entirely different country over there! remember, we live in a state where it takes a good day to get out of, not to travel over many different states in a matter of hours.

I would not exclude them so long as the owner of the car in question is not best buddies with the owner of the shop or a signficant customer. If he does a PPI for you then he is obliged to disclose his findings, which may include some other knowledge he has of the car. - of course he will give you all the disclaimers.

I am interested in a 68 V-12 Ferrari located in El Paso. The car has been serviced by Redline Performance so I can't use them as an inspector. Anyone else in El Paso?
