Update: Despite our recent loss of 3, maybe 4 participants The Show Must Go On! To Date we have 67 cars (14 Lamborghinis) signed up for the event and a little over 150 people joining other Enthusiasts for what is sure to become a Texas Fall Classic. There will be a large gathering of enthusiasts in Houston for a Caravan/Fun Run to Mr. Perwiens sprawling Blue Bonnet Horse Farm meeting about 10am Sat. 11th. For those wishing to enjoy the comraderee of fellow enthusiasts and car nuts and join in one of the Fun Runs from Austin, Dallas, SA or Houston email me and I will put you in touch with our local run organizers. With such an overwhelming interest in what started as a small car party, I believe we may well have over 300 participants if we are blessed with good weather. For more info on the Fun Runs and sign-up info contact me at: [email protected] Hope to see ya'll there !! { }

Well...it's Official !!! WhooHooo!!! Lamborghini of Dallas is on board as a Major Sponsor of The Texas Running of the Bulls 03. The best news is they will be bringing a Murcielago and a Demo Gallardo to wow the guests and allow a few drives for those that are interested in the new Lamborghini product offerings. The presence of the Gallardo is especially exciting news as they have not officially hit ground in the US yet and aren't planned to arrive in force until Oct. 1st. This means our event participants and guests will be treated to one of the first public showings of the Gallardo in the US and The First in this section of the United States. I wish to publically thank "Lamborghini of Dallas" for their participation and enthusiasum in supporting the Texas Exotic Car Enthusiast community. It is very rare in Texas when an Italian Car Dealership will come out of their protective shell and support pure enthusiast events, and Lamborghini of Dallas deserves applaud for showing their support of the exotic car community. BRAVO !!!!! and thank you Lamborghini of Dallas for supporting the Texas Exotic Car enthusiast community !!! If you haven't signed up for the Texas Running of the Bulls yet and think you might want to attend email [email protected] for further info or directions to the sign up forms. Hope to see you all there!! { }

Hi Allan, to answer your question, With the exception of Dave (aka: I'd Tag It) who will be Track Day Driving Instructor along with his crew, I'm not aware of a single Fchatter that has actually sent in a registration form. There are 30 registered cars for Sat. and 8 registered cars for the Sun. Track event so I may be mistaken (hope so)as some use pseudonyms to post so I might not have put 2&2 together. Some other sites have shown far more interest. for any that want to join the fun, email me for the registration link. [email protected] Regards, JRV |

-------------------------------------------------- Pinnacle Motorsports of Houston is proud to announce the First Annual "Texas Running of the Bulls"...which is a Fun Run to Blue Bonnet Farms in Bellville, Tx. Blue Bonnet Farms is a sprawling beautiful Thoroughbred Horse Farm in the rolling hills of Bellville, owned by my very long time client and friend, Mr. Ed Perwien. Mr. Perwien is the original owner of a 1972 Lamborghini Espada and as such is the Grand Father of the Texas Lamborghini owners. He has graciously offered his farm for a great meeting place and B-B-Q. The Driving and Partying Event will honor Lamborghini and be the unvieling of another client Mark Carneys 98 Diablo VT-TT (twin turbo). At present we have about 10 Lamborghinis signed up for a run from their respective cities of Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio out to the farm. Originally we were shooting for late May , but the date and format has evolved into a Fun Run-Party- BBQ on Saturday Oct. 11th at Blue Bonnet Farms in Bellville, followed by a High Speed Track Day at Texas World Speedway in Colledge Station on Sun. Oct. 12th. At this time I'd like to extend an Invitation to include any Sports Car Owners and Fans that would like to join in the Fun Run and BBQ to Bellville on the 11th and/or the High Speed Track Event at TWS on Sunday the 12th.. Any interested parties leave messages here and I'll get back to you individually with the details or email me directly to recieve more details and/or to sign up. We have guys in Houston, Dallas and Austin that will be trip/field co-ordinators, and are looking for Squadron Leaders from San Antonio and other cities to co-ordinate from there. The event is open to Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Pantera, Alfa, Vectors, Stangulinnis etc., etc.. The approximate sign up fee for the BBQ/Party at BlueBonnet Farms for Saturday the 11th is $25.00 per person (children under 12 $5) and is limited to the first 100 signees, and the sign up fee for the High Speed Track Event at TWS is approx. $350 per car with a maximun of 40 cars. In the event the Maximun number of cars attend the TWS event the fee could be adjusted lower to reflect the reduced spread per participant. For Additional Sign Up Informatin email me @ [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> If you or someone you know wants to Help Mark Carney and Myself underwrite this event (pay deposits) and become a Sponsor with your name attached to all marketing literature to be distributed contact me @ [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> for details. Also to insure everyone has a good time and gets home safely, Pinnacle Motorsports will be providing our Track Support Vehicle and Trailer to insure the cars safe return in case of anything unfortunate. I am hoping that providing a safe secure way home, just in case will alleviate trepidations about any and all of the driving activities. Hope to see you, your family and friends there ! Happy Motoring. Glad to see the event format taking shape! If anyone needs local accommodations, I have info on various B&Bs in the area. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> The World's Fastest Art Car will BE THERE! Ya'll should be, too! Hi Ralph, Sorry I can't help out with the wife issue. But if you need other Lambo's guys to run with that's not a problem. One client in particular is dying to find some friends to cruise with...you can email him and introduce yourself, and use me as a reference. His name is Luigi, great guy, and loves Lambos, he's had 4 of them. here: [email protected] The Texas Running of the Bulls will be a great time and we are trying to add a Track Day at TWS to the event. I was talking with TWS today about scheduling and a tenative date has been set of the weekend of Oct. 11th-12th. Saturday fun cruise to Mr. Perwiens Horse Farm in Bellville for a Blowout Party/Picknik/ Hay Rides for the Kids and then Sunday a High Speed Driving event at Texas World Speedway. If that sounds like fun hope to see you there. Regards, JRV |

Hi JRV: I live in Houston, Texas. I just purchased on 24 April my first exotic ~ A white and tan 88 Countach QV. I would like to try and come to the event. Please kindly provide details about the event at your leisure. It would be thrilling to run with other Lambos in Texas on occasions. P.S. I should not have a problem coming. The only problem is that my wife does not yet know about my car. Any suggestions on how to let her know about the car ? GENTLY ? She was'nt bad when she found out about my two hidden motorcycles. But this is a C/T ! I suppose that I could nail a Z-28 emblem on the dash, sing a little story about how it is a kit and that it is really a Chevy 350 in the front of the car ! She fortunately does not know much about cars. Ralph |

Like sands through the hourglass....... The event organizers, Mark Carney, Luigi Ballatori & myself have proposed some changes to the event which includes renting TWS for a combination event. The new thoughts include the Fun Run and Party/BBQ at Blue Bonnet Farms on Saturday..cruise to Colledge Station , spend Sat. night, then up early for a Full Day of High Speed Track Driving. I'll be talking with Lamborghini of Dallas in the near future to get a read on their interest of having the Murcielago's on the track perhaps (hopefully) with rides...;->
