Here's the great part. Out of everyone that was inconvenienced by TBC's malicious actions yesterday at the last minute, 5 of them were lawyers and ended up at D&B's with us (Ken, Greg, Jon, Hunter, and Hunter's friend). I think we know who's in control. |

FWIW - I don't think I am going to organize further events for my company through TBC. It might not be a make/break event from just one organization, but it would still have been several thousands of dollars flowing there. Not to mention the many car enthusiasts that would continued to go there outside of my organized event. Too bad for them. They obviously don't get it. Chris |

It is pretty clear that the manager does not know how to run the business. After numerous complaints they still do not fix the problems and we are probably the only repeat customers they have. They will be out of business before long and their manager will be looking for a job. It is a shame that some people can't do their job properly. The thing that the manager should remember is that he does not work for only TBC management - he works for us, his customers. Good riddens! I highly doubt if they have lawyers watching this board. They would not have any recourse anyway. |

Yeah, screw 'em. They don't want our business? No problem. How is there any argument? We just go somewhere else. As for attorneys, why are they monitoring the board? Is someone here sueing TBC??? What's the use of TBC having copies of posts here other than to illustrate customer dissatisfaction? Obviously TBC's resources should be put to better use. This is a free country and SpeedZone is right down the street. |

Dave, I don't know, they can't be making money. I don't know if you've ever been there, but the facility is just awesome. They must of spent a ton and a ton of money. It's huge and all A/C, so electricity itself is probably killing them. I'm sure busier on the weekend, but even week nights the few we have there 15-20 people they can't handle because of the few running karts and how long it takes to recharge. So you figure 40 people a day at $30 is $1,200. Maybe I'm not that great at math, but that just doesn't add up. Of course the real money is from the corporations, they don't mind the kart conditions, the slow wait, and they pay big money for it too. It's a private company from the NW I believe. I think they just have huge cash reserves and maybe the investors don't even have a clue what's going on. But, that's their problem and not ours. If they have enough money, they can go years and years loosing money, we can still have a good time at their expense. |

Rob, looking at this from some distance as I am, this has "they are in REAL financial trouble" written all over it. I would suspect you will see them going nipples-skyward very soon, and then this problem will take care of itself in a supremely Darwinian fashion... I'm looking forward to seeing you & Jennie this weekend! |

We had been frustrated with several of their short comings (poor kart conditions, timers not working, and too much lag before and between runs). We addressed these concerns several times with onsite management and conditions kept deteriorating over the past year. Last month we showed up and about 20 minutes later 2 busses of people showed up, although Tillman had us scheduled that day for months and even confirmed the week before. They basically said sorry, it will be about 2 hours before you can get on. I expressed my concerns to the manager onsite. I was very calm about it, but I did get to the point. The manager got in my face wanting to fight and there are several witnesses to it. I still remained calm and just responded that this was not appropriate manager behavior. We left, went to Speedzone, and then the next week came back with no problems. I was hoping things would get better as I heard they were getting new gas karts. Hmm, not meeting conditions of contract. Assault by a manager with witnesses. Safety liabilities with the condition of the kart. I think we know which way the law suits would go. We were thick skinned about it, but we can play their game if they want, we have access to some of the best lawyers in the country. One even specializes in race track suits and this would be right up his "road". I recommend that they get themselves back in line real quick. |

WTF? What did Rob allegedly say? And why are there so many g_ddamned thin-skinned people out there? Good luck weathering the recession, TBC. Unlike you, RPM here in Austin is thriving thanks to FCA & PCA events--and they're damned grateful! |

are we being slanderous? I never saw or heard any of the comments other than people being upset about a cart not working properly. |

Hey guys I just received a call from Eddie Hill from TBC, and he no longer wants us at the facility due to comments from Rob and others concerning the April 8/15th event. There will be no karting event from this point, unless someone can offer an alternative location Be aware that Eddie Hill said that "their attorneys are watching the board and printing out the posts". Just FYI |
