SOB, went to watch my videos last night and all you see is the dash and sky. Sometimes under heavy braking you see a glimpse of the road. I tried to fix the camera angle after having the rear view in the way last time. Too much of a hurry to test before my runs though. Oh well, with the green track, I wouldn't of been much faster, if I was at all, but I wish I could of got all those other cars in the video.

Rob,

Quick question: What are the "*" for next to our names on the Race Team page? I noticed they're only on a few people.

I did 3 sessions and all went great. Turned out to a great day. No rain, but cool in the morning before warming up a little in the afternoon. Boulle (yes, the jeweler) was in his 355 C, Randy Aust in his 348 C, a E46 M3, the aluminum E Type that was at ECW for awhile, Viper, C4 vette, and a Cobra played all day long.

No spins or offs, just about 100 miles of hard driving. It's so easy to drive at the limits consistently. The other 355 C had a major high speed off coming down ricochet. I was coming the other way and saw him go off and spin 3 times or more in the mud. That's about a 80 MPH turn.

Put it up stands and learned about the car from the underside all afternoon while changing the oil and inspecting everything.

Looks like the weather will be OK for at least the morning and maybe longer than that. I'm getting packed now and will arrive to MSR about 9am. I might only do 2-3 sessions as I want enough time to get the car up on jack stands to change the oil, bleed the brakes, and inspect everything before any rain comes.

I will be getting rain tires, I just don't have them yet. :-)

Please come out if you want, but I may be done driving by noon.

Keith, Randy introduced us the last time he & I were instructing up there at MSR! Rob, Keith, not sure if I will make it. The M3 is still moribund, with bizarre ECU woes. Unlikely to get fully fixed in time to get there. I am tempted to bring my wife's 328GTS, but not if the threat of severe weather grows...so we'll see.

Rob,

I will be scrubbing in tires and testing for the next race, so I'll see if I can keep up in my little SM. If you need help or whatever, come by my shop next door to Texas Autosports.

Randy Aust in his 348 C, maybe David Scott in his M3 and others will be playing at MSR Saturday.

I don't have a passenger seat yet, so no rides yet, but if you really want to watch. Seems pretty boring to me, but I know some were disappointed when finding about my 1st test session. I'm confident with the car now, so I don't mind others watching.

I'll probably be there about 9am and run three 25 minute session throughout the day. End of the day I'll get her up on jack stands to change the oil, tires, and bleed the brakes as I don't have anywhere to work on her at home.

For those that have MSR memberships, come join the fun on track. For those that want to watch there's no membership required or other fees.

Only reason this event won't happen is if it rains or Randy Aust can't make it as I'm a guest on his membership.
