Nice to see that Cobra there again. Anyone know why he left the other run so soon?

Luigi gorgeous C/T ? Go look in the mirror
fellah. You will see those pretty electric
blue hues.

Remember I was out of town.

AC will not keep me down from a nice little
run.

Jason:

Last Sat's AM run was truly a lot of fun. We had 8 cars, 2 super-bikes, and still managed to cover over 160 miles by the time we were done...

Unfortunately we missed Ralph's gorgeous Countach (A/C problems, I hear...)

A few pics have been posted at http://www.lamborghiniclubtexas.com/Pictures.asp?MCATid=7&MSCATid=26 (click on individual item) / maybe Tony will get us a new video as well in the next couple of weeks...

William,

Our video is taking forever, I'm sorry. My editor can't seem to find the time to complete it. I'll have it up as soon as it's finished.

Luigi,

How was Saturdays run? Sorry I couldn't make it. I didn't wake up until 10 since I was out until about 2 on Friday night. :-X

The video is taking longer than antipated. We had about two minutes of it done, then my editor decided he wanted to start over.

We will have it done by the end of the week though.

William,

I may be able to send you the full copy over the internet, but I'm not sure how to put the full thing on tape. RIght now, it's just on a minidisk.

My friend might be able to load the whole video on his server and you can just download it.

Thank God the motorcycle rider was okay! Phew!!

And Ralph, the song is more of a classic than the G&R hits. I think everyone will like it though - assuming our editor ever finishes.

Great pics Luigi! Your car looks so natural at the track. ;-)

WILLIAM:

The guy's name that had an accident is "June". (with Holligan's Extremes). He emailed me on Monday / he'll be allright - no broken bones - just bruised up...

Here's his email:
...All of a sudden cars started slaming on thier brakes. I applied as much brake as I could, raising the back tire off the groun but to
avoid going through the car in front of me rear windshield, I had to dump the bike. I was taken to the hospital and treated. Nothing broken but a lot of soreness.

We should have the video done by the end of the week. We have about 40 minutes of good footage, and we're going to do about a 5 minute video.

The song will be a suprise, but it is quite fitting. ;-)

DES,

There will be more photos or links posted later. From what I understand, Jason is working on the video. It's an amazing thing to look back behind the Mondial & see Todd standing up with a camcorder out of an Acura, they really did a great job of keeping up with some of us. Also at the beginning of the drive, There was someone that had a camera mounted to his helmet on a superbike, but let's just say he dropped out early. I hope he is ok after that fall, I didn't see it but heard all about it. Some of you know what I talking about. I can't wait to see the final tape.

Thanks for all of the nice
photos. That was a nice
rear shot of the Tercel.
There was also another
photo in one of the groups
that was a no-no.

Anyone see this from the
Bay Area ? Do you like

premium gas ?

Luigi. Please clean the
bug carcassas off of the
Diabolo's front bumper.

Nice pics.

Next time however, I would like to coordinate some driving shots. I didn't get as many close ups as I had hoped.

And perhaps a ride or two. :-)

Just got home for the night. Soooooooooo exhausted. It was tough keeping up with you guys in my oh-so-stock "camera car." We got about 40 minutes of footage. I was driving, my friend Todd did most of the moving shots.

We took 50+ pictures (half will need to be scanned), and Zerin (passenger in the black S4) has about 100 pictures. I'll try and get some uploads of his tomorrow.

Thanks again for the invite Luigi! I had a blast! Also thanks for hosting us at your house. Very thankful. =)

Editing of our video begins tomorrow? Anyone have a preference on the music?

The thing that amazed me the most
was how everyone was happy to
accomodate requests for rides.

I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

The event was a huge success with approx 30 cars and several Super Bikes.

Running thru the backroads with friends & fellow enthusiats is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on! ;-)

How about a few pics of the event?

OK sure, why not ;-)
