Sunday in the Bluebonnets, April 21!
Join us on what Chris S. is calling the best drive of the year, which will include all of our favorite roads (P4, Lime Creek, 1431, and a few new surprises) ! For this drive, we are including a ride on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise, a 2 1/2 hour cruise on one of Texas' last untouched beauties, Lake Buchanan (see this link for more info: http://www.texasoutside.com/Burnet/vanishingTXriver.htm) . It sounds like a blast; I can't wait!
We will be LEAVING from the Albertsons' at 1431 and 183 at 9 am sharp. In order to make it to the cruise in time, we CANNOT wait for stragglers! BE ON TIME WITH A FULL GAS TANK OR BE LEFT BEHIND! Bring FRS radios if you have em!
Cost for the River Cruise is $15-16. You need to call ahead and make reservations at 1-800 4 RIVER 4 or 1-512-756-6986.
Also, please email Sondra at [email protected] and let me know if youre planning to come along so that she will have an approximate number of cars.
NOTE: There will be passenger seats available! If you want to ride instead of drive, let Sondra know ASAP and she'll ask around for a seat for you.
