Jason,

If you are still short on Models, I have 3 showing up at Pinnacle Motorsports tommorow at Noon for a photo shoot for the 04 PM calender.

Maybe they would fill in in case your other Models are a no show?

Jason,

I have a friend/customer with a 98 Porsche GT2 that might be talked into being in your booth.

It would probably cinch the deal if he could see pics of the models you have lined up.

Greg, got your email. I haven't had a chance to call to set up a meeting, but I think I'll get that chance today.

Dale, I'd love it. If you have some pictures, email me those along with a contact number.

I'm going to try and get together w/ both of you sometime in the next few days. Either of you mind if I bring a digicam to snap a few shots?

Jason,
Where did u send message? I assumed is was to my Email address however, nothing has appeared. Is there a way to exchange private messages on this board, if so, I'm unaware of how to do so. I sent you an Email ([email protected]) on the 21st with my contact info. Anyway, my offer to use the RUF still stands.

Sure William. Thanks for the offer! :-)

Want to sport those SCCA stickers and the tape on the headlights? I think it'll look good with some of the other racing/auto-x cars.

Gregg,

I'd love to have the Porsche there. I'm very familiar w/ RUF and a huge fan of their work!

And the 355 wouldn't be bad either. Maybe we could work something out for that too. :-)

Email me or give me a ring and I can get your info.

Jason,

My F355 Spider probably won't titillate any of the
attendees, however, my 97 RUF Cabriolet, might.
RUF, as you may already know, is a manufacturer/tuner of considerable reputation.

Your steak dinner proposal won me over.<gr>

For any owners who are willing to participate, I'm throwing in dinner on me at Houston's Best Steakhouse (IMHO).

New company name as well: Vantage International Performance, LLC. VIP Club for short.

Jason: I am only thinking of the longevity
of the calender. I want the calender to last.
You know how those mechanics are once they
mount the calender. And Jason, the calender
is going to be mounted in the bathroom above
the GOJO hand wash.

Any of them close to Houston and in need of a nice relaxing day of posing in Bikinis with nice Exotic Cars ?

>>Sure 18 year old girls in bikinis would help, but most of the girls that are usually out there ...heh i would rather look at some nice italian ladies (italian ladies = italian cars)<<

If FoH doesn't load your boat with cars I'd have plan B "Girls in Bikinis" as a backup. In fact here's a nice game for you to try out, see which is easier to line up, Girls in Bikinis or FoH cars..;-)

And speaking from a guy surrounded by Italian Supercars every day for the last 25 or more years I'd rather lean on a car and talk to and eyeball a girl in a Bikini on my weekends. Personally I find girls far more interesting to play with than cars.

In fact drive around alone for a few months, then try the same driving excercise with a babe...see which one wins.

;-)

Actually this show will not be anything like HIN, the Import Expo owners are good friends of mine and their shows are always top notch. This years show will be the fourth annual show in Houston, and without a doubt be the best. If we worked on it and got some cars from FoH, or LCoT, we could create quite a spectacle. Sure 18 year old girls in bikinis would help, but most of the girls that are usually out there ...heh i would rather look at some nice italian ladies (italian ladies = italian cars)

LOL @ JRV. :-) I'm trying my best.

William, yea this is Import Expo. We're going to try and have 20-30 cars; basically so we can be the dominating group on one side of the building. I want people to come and at least have to look.

I was just hoping to throw some F-cars in the mix.

Jason,

From what I've read so far, this will be like Hot Import Nights show. Unless it's a late model F car all blinged out, most people won't care. You real customers are driving Honda, Acuras, Mazdas, etc.. with mods. I remembered a show from last year that had a yellow 550 provided by Wheels America. More people were interested in the low rider civic with gullwing doors parked next to it. You want to grab some attention at a show, get some hoochie mamas for your booth.

I would love some contacts. I wanted to try and get in touch with the Houston Ferrari guys that I met while at FoH but I didn't get any of their cards.

For a little explanation about the show...

I'm hoping to be the odd group there.

All the other cars at the show will be Japanese or European tuner cars (ie: Honda, Acura, Nissan, BMW, Audi, etc). I was just trying to get a group of Italian or Euro cars together to put around my booth. Some 15,000 people attended last years show, I want them all to walk by my area.

I understand if some of you are weary about the entire "import" scene, but all the cars will be protected and watched 100% of the time. You also get two free tickets - perhaps for a son or daughter who likes this new generation of tuning cars.

And I doubt many of you modify your cars, but that's alright. Just asking for a 1 day favor. :-)

Thanks again.

Anyone in the Houston area with any European car be willing to lend it to me for a show on the 27th of September?

Not for driving of course. I'm just looking to have a nice selection of European (hopefully Italian) cars in my area to attract attention. It will cost you nothing. I can pay for the entry along with your gas to and from the Astro Arena.

All the cars will be roped off so you won't have to worry about anything.

If you are willing to help me, I would be most grateful, and I'll even try to throw in a group dinner for the F-Chatter's.

For those interested, you can email me at [email protected]

Thanks!!

Jason-
