Keith, I would be interested in helping instruct too. This is what you and Shannon are doing together, right?

This is shameless, but I am putting together a driving school at MotorSport Ranch. School car is the new Mazda 6, curriculum will be safety and performance oriented, car control, emergecy lane changing, skid pad, track driving, and more. Our web site (with virtually no content as yet is www.apexdrivingacademy.com).

Tuition is $600 for a full day (figure about 3 hours seat time), but on August 7 I am doing a "dry run" school for $400 per person (a couple fo spots are left). Contact me privately for more info.

Shamelss plug over.

My 16 year old daughter did the Panoz teen driving experience at TMS in June, and it was excellent. I had done their racing school and Dave's right, they are outstanding.

There is a one day program and a two day. My daughter just did the one day, but enjoyed it so much that she regretted not doing both days.

I would highly recommend them.

Dale, try the Panoz School. They operate at Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, and I believe they do teen schools with Audi A4's. I have met some of their instructors--first class folks!

Maybe I'm looking for love in all the wrong places, I but haven't had any luck in finding a driving school (not a racing school) here in Texas. I have a 19-year old daughter and a 16-year old son who need this badly. I'd love to find one over the Xmas holidays.

Dave are you listening?
