I bought a Mondial 8 for $14k and traded it in and got $12k. It needed a service. It was red/tan, hard leather, tools.

Here's a link to a Mondial Martin has on consignment.

He could probably find a nice GT4 in that price range also. I'd personally rather have it over the Mondial.

I know that there are several around for the 20K range. Plus shipping of course. Most of them @ that range are East Coast.

I haven't heard a recent price, but I would think $16-22k. I know of a recent 3.2 sale and it was $30k, so back to the relative pricing I think that's about right. However, I think Mondials more than most Ferraris have the crasiest asking prices. Owners think because they sold for about the same or more than their 2 seat counterparts new, that they should still be on level.

I have a friend that is getting closer to buying into the addiction. The only thing is that with 2 kids and a low budget he's definitely looking at the low end (think <20K). Fortunately, he probably won't drive it that much so hopefully service costs won't kill him.

With 2 kids and no budget the Mondial 8 is his first choice. Does anyone know what they are really selling for these days for a "good driver" condition car?

Thanks
T
