Very valid point, Rob.

It is also very difficult to concentrate on moving forward when you have chased dozens & dozens of your customers & prospective customers out of your shop, sometimes waving sharp tools in their faces, and telling them never to return. Anger management is only a part of the solution for the little troll, I'm afraid.

But what do I know about running a successful business, eh?

Pray tell, Rob, what is the new identity, so I can be sure to avoid any future online battles that demean FC?

He's still around, just a new identity.

I hope JRV learns to control his anger and that his business is able to recover. Maybe those two are related? It's very difficult to concentrate on moving forward when creditors are bothering you about what you owe.

Hang in there. One less Ferrari mechanic will mean less choices and higher prices.

It is amazing & refreshing, but not surprising, that out little friend JR has taken his toys & fled FerrariChat.

Despite my obvious distaste for him, his personal behavior, his lack of ethics and even a small dose of courage, and his business practices, I wish the Running of the Bullschit track day best wishes for a successful event. As was my intent in the post that began this thread, I wanted to give y'all adequate time to find other instructors to minimize the carnage out there on the 12th. Good luck with that!

Alan, if you can keep him muzzled & tied up in his truck, it ought to be a nice time for all. :-)

No, Dave!! LOL

FCA Atlanta is working right now with NEW MONEY!!
Don't want to get off on the wrong foot with the "New Car" guys. Didn't mean to call you out on this one.

Had to take my bank to task on that subject draft.
I found them with a 'hold' on the account!
That's the problem with all these new dereg rules.

I think FCA Houston is up to date, as of last Wednesday. They really are some good guys!

"In God we trust, all others, bring cash!"

Hope to meet you sometime. I was just teasing!
We'll talk about it, this all has a history that goes back to when Jesus was a child.

You guys coming to the Art Car costume ball this year?

>>LAMBORGHINI CLUB TEXAS FULL MEMBERS
17 LAMBORGHINI OWNERS <<

Oh Really??? I don't believe it !!

The 2 Real Lamborghini Clubs, you know, the ones "Endorsed by the Factory" (like the TRotB's), Lamborghini Club of America - http://www.lamborghiniclub.com/ and The Lamborghini Owners Club both have members lists with names and models, surely the luigi club of texas has the same and can provide such !!!

If not then I will assume you have no list !!!

Having been in business in Houston for 20 years as of Oct 1st, I know how many cars exist and who the owners are.

I think you will ignore this request for proof of your Lambo "Owners" Memberships thus proving you and the luigi club have no credibility .

You were extricated from involvement with TTRotB's for solid verifiable reasons by very credible people. If you choose to make the details of that extrication puplic feel free to let me know. I have kept my mouth shut so that everyone could simply go their own way and put the negativity behind us. However, if that's not in the cards I will let all of the facts become public record.

Now....I am done with this ugliness !!! I have a Fantastic Event to put on....a True Car Enthusiast Event...where little car guy and big car guy can mingle and have fun tigether without feeling alienated !!!

Anyone wishing to come out and join in, do so, those wishing to stay home, do so. In both cases the Show Will Go On and a Fun Time will be had by all those who decide to attend.

Yes, the modern F250 is quite the vehicle. Hard to believe how car-like they are making them nowadays. and yet it is STILL a REAL truck.

Young folks need to learn good lessons from the old.
Those new F250 pickup trucks are nice.
Amazing how technology has changed the trucks
over the years. Remember the old trucks of the
early 1950's ? A heater was a luxury. You
have a nice truck in the F250. Good Luck

OK, Rob. Your place, your rules. I meant no disrespect towards you.

No real anger at JRV, just bewilderment & a long life of not brooking fools, nor tolerating bullies and insecure little, little men.

There were many "little big men" in the business I used to be in--oil and gas. Many "thousand dollar millionaires". Many bullies with big hats but no cattle. I don't cotton well to that ilk, and my natural distrust and distaste for those who bring themselves up by bringing others down comes out when I see it rear its ugly head.

I was very successful nonetheless in that business, mainly by not backing down, and by giving them 3 punches for every 1 they threw at me (figuratively and sometimes literally).

But I did not intend to disrespect this--your house. For that, let me please at least be man enough to say I am sorry.

Regards,

Pete

Dave,
It will be a pleasure for me to do so.
I have acquired my first Ferrari 1 month ago after dreaming of it for 30 years.A dream come true but I got very quickly frustrated by speed limit , this is why I was looking for a track around DFW.
In Europe I did some karting a long time ago. I realized at that time that I could be someday a good driver but not a Champ as I was practicing on the same tracks than Alain Prost. I did a formula 3 driving school followed by a couple of years having fun driving these great little cars The first race I saw Ferrari racing live was at Le Mans in 1967, as you remember with the most achieved Ferrari P4 and as well as very good cars from Texas, do you remember the Chapparal of Jim Hall.
I understand he has a museum in Texas, do you know where it is?

Jeremy, what the hell?

And Rob, 4-5 Dallas guys (probably friends of yours) beating up on one Houston guy???? WTF???

I was taught that if you have an issue with someone you either talk about it with them (not in a chat room) ,duke it out, or shut the hell up and go home.

Be careful what you say, you're almost crossing the line. I have no idea who Peter is and I plan to address him below. We all know who Dave is. So who are my 4-5 Dallas friends and when have I ever had a problem talking to someone on the phone? I talked to you a couple weeks ago and Alan just called me. I think one of the biggest problems is JRV won't call Al. I have no reason to talk to JRV. Some people you just have to right off and JRV is one of those in my book. JRV will never ever be someone I can trust or want to be friends with. But that's just IMHO. Other people can make the choices they want. Have you ever thought I'm not participating in these conversations anymore because I don't care about JRV and although all of you are trying to "exit" the conversation. It looks like I'm one of the few that has. This entire thing is just ridiculous.

Peter, I don't like the tone of your messages. I sense some anger towards JRV, but maybe take it offline. Nothing is constructive about this thread anymore, just a bunch of name calling back and forth. Please just try to chill and let's get over this.

JRV has pissed some people off and other people are just pissed at the pissed.

Good luck to JRV and his event. If JRV wants to get involved with the FCA, then he will. If he has ideas and feedback for the club, then we'll hear them. If he has complaints about the leadership, then he needs to address that to Al or national.

Most of this has already been said. I'm not mad at anyone. This is all just stupid. Move on.

"...sabatuers, ego maniacs, frauds, and haters..."

Out of respect for the FCHAT community, I'm not even going to reply to these "accusations" from JRV. I doubt things will ever change there...

Regarding my club, LAMBORGHINI CLUB TEXAS has over 40 members (full & associates), all of which - whether Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pantera, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, FIAT, and other sports car owners have been welcomed since day 1 in the club and in my home (including JRV).

Below is a summary of our membership roster - in my opinion not too bad for a 4-month-young club!

LAMBORGHINI CLUB TEXAS FULL MEMBERS
17 LAMBORGHINI OWNERS

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (NON-LAMBO OWNERS)
7 FERRARI
5 PORSCHES
2 COUNTACH REPLICAS
1 PANTERA
1 LOTUS
1 DELOREAN
2 VIPERS
The rest own other types of sport cars.

I must admit that reading through these threads "amuses me". Still - writing responses exhausts me... So please forgive me for taking the opportunity to "plug" the LAMBORGHINI CLUB TEXAS on your Ferrari Chat... as this should truly be about YOUR FERRARI's and not our LAMBORGHINI's.

If you would like to visit our club and learn about our events, please go to http://www.lamborghiniclubtexas.com

As Jason says... "Enjoy the ride!"

I wish all of you a good night!

Marc, welcome!! Depends what you mean by affordable...but there is a very nice facility called Motorsport Ranch just SW of Ft. Worth that is worth checking out. It is a private membership club, and is quite a nice 1.7 mile track! A number of folks on here belong to it, including our founder, Rob Lay.

JR, what the @#$%&! is wrong with you, man??? Why do you need to besmirch a good man like Luigi, who has never even uttered a cross word about you, and who has caused you no harm? Why do you need to try and drag him into the sewer you infest? Is it your pathological need to pee on everyone?

Luigi, you are a good man & JR is not. Please, don't lower yourself to his level by even conversing with him on here. He is not worthy.

Back on topic, JR, I sure love how Peter has you dancing to his tune!!!!! He says "jump" and you and your buddies, Jose & Hose B, just can't wait to ask "how high". Too funny:

Nice attempt at a low-rent backpedal Jason. LOL

Luigi, I don't have any idea who you are or why Shorty AKA the Third Stooge chose to bring you into his Sterno indiced tirade du jour. But Short Round is definitely an Equal Opportunity Offender. He pees on everyone, it seems.

JRV, you just can't help yourself, can you? Rob was right: you need professional help before you hurt yourself or others. You go out of your way to show just how insecure you are about so many things. The more you try to show us how "important" you are by self-aggrandizing and simultaneously putting down others, the more evident your short man's/Napoleon complex is.

Your response to Dave's polite email was the true measure of your "character". "Sorely lacking" doesn't begin to describe it.

Being 5' 2" tall and having other, er, "shortcomings" too must be a terrible burden for you to bear. It is unfortunate that you consistently choose to take your anger at the world out on those around you. The chip on your shoulder just keeps growing and growing, doesn't it? Too bad you didn't. Puberty must have been hell for you. I pity your poor wife.

Listen, fool: you are the only hater spereading poison here. And the other 2 stooges? Weak at best.

As for this Sterno-induced gibberish, "dave owes you a debt of gratitude for your extending your shoulder for him to cry on. Getting a huge THANK YOU for requesting not to attend such a fantastic event as this is not really something to brag about, but rather something to be ashamed of!!"

Well, Short Round, I have never met Dave. I have never discussed attending your destined-to-fail event with anyone, nor would I consider attending. In fact, I did not even know about it until your self-aggrandizing post about it popped up to the top the other day.

So keep dreaming up those dark conspiracy theories. It is all you've got left as your business swirls down the crapper.

And the only one who ought to be ashamed is YOU.

Pete

Uhhh blingmiester,

dave owes you a debt of gratitude for your extending your shoulder for him to cry on. Getting a huge THANK YOU for requesting not to attend such a fantastic event as this is not really something to brag about, but rather something to be ashamed of!! I'm surprised he let the world know ! And the luigi Club of Texas starring that star of stars luigi had the event taken back, not from him, it never was his in the first place, because he was making a mockery of the entire thing. There are 2 REAL Lambo Clubs and the luigi club of texas isn't one of them.

Both of the REAL Lamboghini Clubs both Endorse and Support The Texas Running of the Bulls and the vast majority of their members in this part of the country will be in attendance.!!! By my last count the luigi club of texas had 2 yes only 2 Lambo Owning Members !!! Go ahead and call me a liar and claim he has 3 Lambo OWNING Members !!!

There will be at least 14 Lambos in attendance that would never join a club that has zero credibility !!!

The Largest Gathering of Lamborghinis in the history of Texas organized and sponsored by myself the 2 real Lambo Clubs and a handful of volunteers that will have nothing whatsoever to do with the luigi club of texas says it all !!!

Spin away.

My reward is that several of you will not be there to poison the air real Enthusiasts and Good, Nice People breathe!

Jason, it's "thrown", and not "throne". Get a clue how to write at above the 2nd grade level before you lecture someone else to grow up, fool. Geez, are the schools really that bad in Houston? Thanks for the laugh, though.

Jeremy, fair enough. I consider the issue closed anyway. But I still wonder where your outrage was when it was your buddy acting the little b!tch. Your lopsided and hypocritical attitude stinks of being a proxy. Jason can look that word up in the dictionary, no doubt something with which he is totally unfamiliar.

Look at my profile, geniuses. If you see the words Houston or Dallas anywhere on it, or if you see my picture on it, I will give you $1,000. And neither of you 2 stooges has sent me an email about anything. Care to show otherwise?

Go get ready for your daily "mentoring" session with Shorty, and sober up. If you have anything serious to say or ask me, I will respond. Otherwise, you 2 and Shorty will now be known as the Three Stooges of FerrariChat.

Know what I mean?

Regards,

Pete

Um, Jeremy? where was your self-righteous outrage at the object of my scorn when he was "mucking up our chat site" with all sorts of baseless character assassinations and other crap? Where?

I am merely pointing out the obvious. I have no wish to "beat up" anyone. Why would you say such a stupid and provocative thing? And I do not live in Dallas.

So you're complaining to Rob about "4-5 Dallas guys beating up on one Houston guy"? Give me a break! Because all I see is 2 Houston guys (friends of JRV's, no doubt) beating up on one from Fredericksburg. Know what I mean?

Ah!!!! Is that the same "Peter" that has ignored my two emails asking for information to join FCA Houston? Or are 308 owners not welcome?

Well, "Peter",

I notice you're not smiling too much in the latest FCA pictures, either.

Not feeling well?

I'm with Jason. If you want to beat up JR so bad, why not go to his shop and handle your business. Stop mucking up our chat site!!

And Rob, 4-5 Dallas guys (probably friends of yours) beating up on one Houston guy???? WTF???

I was taught that if you have an issue with someone you either talk about it with them (not in a chat room) ,duke it out, or shut the hell up and go home.

Let the flaming begin.

Well youre right, somewhat, Jason.

But I did not view pointing out someone's status of being extremely height-challenged or the factual resemblance of his visage to an insect to be name calling. I view it as pointing out the obvious and factual.

Is the name calling necessary from either side?

(That's a rhetoricle question)

Yup. Rob is right. I was tempted to follow suit several times as more info emerged, but I had given my word.

But enough is enough...and when I fear the volatility & mental stability of the organizer, I do not want my name or the names of my other 4 instructors, associated with it or him.

Well, I think I can say very little and it will say alot.

Luigi is a straight forward nice guy and the founder of the Lamborghini Club of Texas. Luigi has distanced himself from the event and also many of his club members have too. Hmm.

This entire thing seems rather strange. To start with most shop owners simply don't have time to hang out on car sites. They are simply to busy with their business.

When I first received email about this event from Luigi, I was planning on doing this event. Marci & I need to make a trip to Houston anyhow. But after JRV's tirades we simply decided to put our trip off and go to Houston @ a later date.

I do not know, Rob. I have not had any contact with them at all. Perhaps Luigi or someone known to them can fill them in?? Methinks it would be wise...

Dave, you're not the only one that has disassociated themselves from this event. I've had many others contact me offline. Does Lamborghini of Dallas know all that's been going on?

Many of you have read the 3-way discussions between myself, JRV, and Peter Blingmeister on FCA governance.

Well, several months ago, I had agreed to act as Lead Instructor for the high-performance tract event portion of the Running of the Bulls at TWS next month, initially at the request of Luigi Ballatori who started the Lambo Club of Texas, and then for JRV, who took over this event rom Luigi. At JR's request, I also assembled a team of 4 other top-notch instructors. As anyone who has been my student, or with whom I have been a fellow instructor, knows, I am a very safe, disciplined, effective, popular instructor. I have never, EVER had a student spin or even put a wheel wrong. Ever. This is important--you may see this material again..

After JR's, um, "behavior" over the past week or two, and other info that emerged about him, I decided this evening to withdraw myself & my team from any association with this event. I sent him this email, verbatim:

"JR,

I and the rest of the instructor team I assembled for your Running of the Bulls event on 10/12 hereby withdraw.

I wanted to give you ample notice to find an alternative.

Dave"

Simple enough, right? Nothing mean, nasty, or rude, and I showed him a high degree of consideration to find alternatives.

Here is the response I got moments ago, verbatim:

"Dave,

Thank You. Your recent tirades has really made me question your credibility
and has caused myself and the other Directors to lose all confidence in your
mental state and ability to run a safe event, which is of the utmost concern
to myself and the other sponsors of TRotB's 03.

We gratefully accept your resignation.

Thank You, JR Vallandingham
PRESIDENT of the Texas Running of the Bulls Association"

Folks, you just cannot make this stuff up! I wanted entertainment, and I sure got it!

I think we have found the Queen for Life of Planet A$$clown.
