Stopped trying. Too much going on at once right now. Wedding is November 8th, today is the last day of my billing cycle at work, so I have been cramming hours as fast as I can.

I think the F car purchase is on a permanent hold for a while. I will live vicariously through you guys.

Ken,

Give me a call. I know a few people at Park Place that might be able to help.

It looks like they might be more willing to deal on it now, try again!

They pretty much ignored me when I said the car was priced right at $33k WITH a major, but anyone in the know about FCars would probably not go higher than $28-$29 in the shape the car is in now (needs a major in about a year based on calendar time). They focused only on the fact that the car had a major about 5k miles ago, but that was in 1998 or 1999.

James Patterson said the car is in very good shape, but advised me that $28k is the right price for the condition of the car.

Maybe I will watch this a little while longer...could be interesting. Although, they were not very eager to deal with me - they ust think I am unrealistic about the price:-)

I dunno Ken, I'm thinking there's a reason this car keeps coming into your life. You already have the daily driver situation worked out...

I might take it at $31k (which is still more that it is worth since it will need a major in about a year) with $10k in cash for the E55.

Now on Ebay for $6k less than what they wanted for it last month. They must realize that it will be a hard car to get rid of. Still too high for its condition though. Funny, they told me over the phone that at $34,000 they would lose money on the car.
