Yeah, the 240s were basketballs. I moved the treaded 240s from the front to the rear and mounted the used 220s on the front. Drives fine but pushes at the limit. |

Nevertheless, I bet your car sounded GREAT out there! I now it sure did when you were getting on it going to Autostrada that sat we hung out! Glad to hear you had a good time! |

Yes, the Mondials, 308, and 328's would be in BS. Not very competitive in BS either. Still a blast though. I took the 328 out once and loved it. Much slower than my DS BMW 325is, but Ferraris were made for GT's and not AX's. |

...and boy were they surprised. Lots of people happy to see something there other than the usual WRXs, EVOs, and Z06s. My first autocross ever and I didn't do badly. Entered in the wrong class. The 'experts' there assumed that I would be running in SS class against the Z06s. I found out later that 308s and 328s should run in B (and I assume Mondials would as well). Didn't do badly. Came in 7th in the Novice class but had I been classified correctly I would have been paxed to 6th and finished with a trophy on my first time out. Total blast. Clipped a few cones but none left a mark. I was the only person except an S2000 that had the revs to run the entire first section of the course in 1st. Made a really pretty sound. The Mondial was surprisingly balanced and capable. I was trapping extremely high on the slalom section of the course. Had I actually had the original 240s on the front instead of the used 220s I just bought, I might have shaved a second and placed even better. I was totally blown away by how well the Ferrari handled. Total blast. Can't wait to do it again. |
