It wasn't there when we went by for lunch. I guess we'll have to try again.

I think MSRP is $165K plus $2K or so destination charges.
But options will likely take you to mid $170's.
And the E-gear will probably be a $10K or so option like the F1 is.

The yellow in the interior bit too ricey for my tastes. I'm in love with the yellow car, though.

You can't get a silver lambo! I won't allow it!

I'll take the yellow one. These are some of the best pics I've seen of the car. It looks to be lower than the 360, too?

Here's the black Murcielago next to a 360 for comparison and a couple shots of an exotic orange one (someone alert Ferrariking).

Interesting that the Murci has a button that raises the nose about 2" for clearing ramps and such.

BTW, the Gallardo seats were very comfy for people like me who need good lumbar support. Not sure if I could be happy with that mere slit of a back window.

I just got back from my first visit to Lambo Dallas. Very nice. Brian's a very pleasant salesman to deal with. Nice showroom full of great cars.

Saw the Black Gallardo... pics below... I'm a bit disappointed in the looks... seems a little chopped off to me... I think the Murcielago has much nicer lines. Its also quite a bit more upscale (stuff like carbon fiber vs. plastic in the engine bay) than the Gallardo... but then it should be for that price difference.

Well guys, I just left Lamborghini Dallas and that car is just awesome.

I still prefer the lines of the Ferrari, but this is definitely a nice car. Very aggressive look, comfortable (even for a guy of my size). All of the controls are nicely placed, the shifter feels comfortable and I like the instrument cluster. If feels more like a cockpit than a car. The controls definitely show an Audi presence, but the car is nicely done!

I was at lamborghini Dallas this morning and found out that they got their first Gallardo in last night. (YES I took pics) Gary Seale had it out to breakfast, but returned with it shortly. It is a metallic black one with 6 speed. They are suppossed to be getting a yellow one with the "E gear" (F1 type shift?) also. These two are for test drives and shows, possibly to be sold later as demos.

I was also informed that they are having their GRAND OPENING on November 13th at 7pm (Thursday evening). Invitation not required. They are sending notices to potential clients, but enthusisasts are welcome to stop in.

They also are having a surge in Ferrari pre-owned sales as well as service. Nothing against FoD, but the waiting list is currently far shorter for getting your car in for service. Mike Luongo (ex-FoD) works there too.

Gallardo pics will be posted tonight.
