Yes, Kelly. Just sent them again, however.

Jaime, I was not considering a 944 as a daily driver. I use a 1997 M3 as one, as well as my primary track car..

"330 Coupe
330 Convertible
275 Convertible"

That list kept getting better as I read it. I was like,"whoa!, WHOA!!, WWHOOOAA!!!" I didnt know Austin had such great examples of Fcars, then again Im sure the owner likes it that way :-)

This event reminds me of the event I tried organizing earlier this year called a, "Car-B-Q". That didnt work out, but another event took its place that I organized, so it worked out in the end. :-)

By the way Dave, did you ever end up picking up a 944 as your DD?

Damn Dave, I want to come! But since it's the day after our next Ferrari dinner, my guess is I won't be up for a 3 hour drive first thing Sunday morning. Have fun!

Yes. One was from Austin, and the other is Hank's from San Antonio. We will be "visiting" the former.

Announcing: The Hill Country Chapter's first annual Garage Mahal Tour. The concept? Four of our own members open their large, multi-car, lift-filled, Ferrari-themed garages to us in sort of a progressive breakfast-luncheon event. All 4 are in Austin.

For all 4 of the hosts' privacy & security reasons, you must PM me for a MapQuest link to the first home if you want to come, unless you have already received my email announcement.

We will start at the first home at 9:30 AM sharp on Sunday, November 2. There, we will enjoy coffee, juices, and light breakfast treats, while we absorb the owners' multiple garages, 2 Ferraris, and the other lovely automotive treats enclosed therein.

After a little while there, we will all move to the second home and Garage Mahal full of classic Ferrari & Jags, for light refreshments & other treats. A paper map to his home will be given out to everyone at the first home.

Next, we will venture to the third home and Garage Mahal, complete with 4 classic Ferraris! There, we will also enjoy coffee & beverages. Again, a paper map to this home will be given out to everyone at the second home.

Finally, we will end up at the fourth home and Garage Mahal, complete with 2 Ferraris. There, we will enjoy a full barbeque lunch, beverages, and socializing. And again, the map to the fourth home will be given out at the third home.

This ought to be a blast, and will become an annual Hill Country tradition. No one needs to bring any food or beverage (unless you have specific dietary requirements)---just yourselves & family members!!!

IMPORTANT: please, please PM me ASAP to let me know if you are coming, and how many you are bringing, so each of our incredibly generous hosts & hostesses can know how much food and beverage to provide, and so I can send you directions to the first Garage Mahal.
