I'd like to thank each of you for making my stay so wonderfully comfortable. Y'all showed your Texas hospitality. I will plan another trip through your area just to visit again. Any Ferrarichat member ever in the Twin Falls Idaho region, I'd like to invite you over and show you around town in a manner we'd all like to become accustomed to.
Thanks again, the trip was a huge success(minus one 79 in a 65 citation in Ennis, Tx)

It's a good thing I didn't drive the Ferrari, on the ride home I looked down and was doing 95 going up Central. It would've been 120 if I'd been in the Ferrari.

Had a great time. It was Erik, myself, JimE, Greg Scott, and a friend of Greg's that visits the site now and then.

Thought I was being cool to give this girl a ride around the block, only to have her boyfriend blow a gasket when we got back. Luckily his anger wasn't directed at me. I mean, all I was trying to do was share the great world of Ferrari.

Erik and I had a blast on the way home. Just for those that didn't know. A GT4 launches off the line much quicker than the 328 (1-2 car lengths), but by 2nd the 328 starts catching it's stride. Oh yeah, and the 328 can spin the tires quite nice. Just a little smoke and a one foot yaw and then all catches and you're out of there.

Erik, Greg, and anyone else is invited to Two Rows tonight for $1 beers and food. No valet, but fairly Ferrari friendly.

Respond on here if you can make it.

Erik,

I would love to meet with you guys. I don't have a Ferrari yet, but I love talking about them. I have been going back and forth between the GT4 and the traditional 308. Maybe you can help me make up my mind. You are more than welcome to stay at our house. Give us a call if you need a place to stay.

I am flying in June 2nd to take delivery of my new 77 308 GT4, (my GTSi perished Jan 6 in a shop fire) and plan on staying a couple days in Houston, as I'd like to get to know the area a bit Monday and go to the big H auction on Tuesday. I will be traveling to Dallas Tuesday eve to catch up with Rob as he has kindly allowed me to stay there.
I am extremely proficient with Ferrari repair and I would gladly work for my stay...I can bring oil filters/oil/belts/wiring/troubleshooting supplies! Besides I would enjoy getting to know a fellow member better as well as going for a drive in our toys.
Thanks for checking out my post!
Ciao y Grazie
