LOL, Testaroja!! Welcome to F-Chat too! Good to hear more first hand experiences with service there from both you and Bart...thanks for sharing. It's also great to hear from more F-car owners in the Orlando / FL area! |

I bought my 88 testarossa from FCF it was a 9,000 mile example w/ the 15,000 mile job done. Now its got 31,000 miles and a fresh major service, a real major service, not the one where people change the belts and some fluids and then call it a major service. The car now its better than when I first got it. The very sexy slim receptionist yeah the one with the silk white skin well she is married, she is also worth the time to talk and look at,and what the hell we are all men anyways. The only thing they need to improve is that they should have an all female staff just ar hot as her. |

Hello John....sorry I didn't respond sooner to your question...was waiting for someone who may have had "personal" dealings with FoCF's service dept. before I chimed in. A friend of mine has his 360 shipped down to them on a regular basis for service...it's a Euro car, so all service is out of pocket. Yet he has nothing but praises about the service dept. / mechanics there. I've toured the service facilities there, and was impressed. I guess it boils down to whether or not you know of any closer / local independents who have a more competitive rate vs. dealer, and whom you have trust in or who come highly recommended. I currently have my 308 serviced by an independent in the Orlando area...and I've seen a TR there for a major service while my car was having its major done as well. |

Honestly they can ignore me if they want to for all I care. I just want to check out a few cars in person. Any of you guys live in Orlando? I would love to meet some of you. |

You have to ask yourself, why is there a $15 difference from one F dealer to another for the same oil filter? even in the same state! |

Paul is right on regarding FoCF parts prices. Everytime I've ordered from them, Doug always manages to give me a good discount on the items...and he's always willing to search for that hard-to-find item as well. Matt...you'll enjoy the visit...and the receptionist! Barton is right when he mentioned the professionalism of the staff there. They enjoy meeting true Ferrari enthusiasts like yourself, and would be glad to let you sit in some of the cars I'm sure. I agree, though, that pushing them to crank one up, or take one for a spin, would probably be a little forward (unless you were genuinely shopping for an F-car or course). Who knows, they just might do this for you. I recall on one visit there was a family that was posing in front of each car taking pics, and asking Anthony to open each one up so that they could pose inside the car for pics. After a while, it was starting to get on the salestaff's nerves a little. |

FCF is also good on prices for parts. If you are a F Club member they take off 20%. I ordered an oil filter for my car earlier this week. Their price was $12.75!!!! Couldn't believe how cheap. I called another F Dealer in the southern part of the state and they wanted $27. A big difference for the same part. |

The management of FCF is happy to have people come by the dealership. Visiting the dealership in the past, I've seen a steady stream of curious visitors come in to the showroom and are welcome to do so. As far as getting to sit in one of the cars and hearing an engine turning over, were it me, I would not push for this. There is usually a large amount of cars to appreciate as the showroom floor at FCF has expanded and there is a nice boutique with Ferrari items as has been mentioned. If it is wished to hear an engine turn over, it may be by luck that they are moving some cars in the showroom or out in the parking lot. My best suggestion here may be to attend a club track event. There are some really cool cars at FCF and the staff there are first class gentlemen in the business. Anothony King at FCF would be happy to show visitors around and answer any questions I'm sure. Up until now, all my visits to FoCF have been on the casual side -- usually when in the area for the Mt. Dora event. FoCF always brings several Ferraris and Maseratis over to Mt. Dora, so everyone at the dealership is a little laid back...waiting to join in on the fun at the show. I do recall on one visit that they were rather busy with several customers / visitors, yet the salestaff was always accomodating nevertheless. Whenever possible, while in the area, we always stop in to at least say hi to certain members of their staff, look around, and purchase something from the boutique. Although I've never heard them fire up any of the F-cars in the showroom, they do occasionally have a few parked outside in the lot...perhaps waiting to take a potential customer for a test ride (?)...or maybe waiting to be picked up from service. I think Raymund noticed my particular interest in the '90 TR, and opened it all up and offered to let me sit in it. I initially declined (that's just me), but my wife insisted (which is a good sign ). He knew that we weren't there particularly looking to purchase or trade; but, like any good salesperson, he could smell an opportunity. As for my wife, she fell in love with the Maseratis....so it looks like I'll have to wait a while longer for a TR. Greg...sorry to hear that about your experience at FoA. A situation similar to yours happened when searching for my first F-car...figured it was either mis-communication or they were very busy and things got filed in Drawer 13. Never been to FoA personally...looks like a very nice dealership as well. Matt...sounds like a plan . While I've spoken to Christina (receptionist) over the phone many times, have only seen her once...just long enough to say hello...so I didn't really get a good look. Last time we were there, there was what appeared to be a "new" young lady, perhaps filling in for Christina, who was working the counter / phones. She was probably in her very early 20's, very cordial, blond, slender, and quite beautiful...so you might want to be on the look-out for her (sorry, didn't catch her name). Sorry to be so long-winded hear. Let me know if you have any further questions, and I'll try my best to answer them. Oh, and yes, Greg...I'm still game for a NE FL meet sometime. |

Eric, I am glad to hear you speak so positively about FoCF. About a month ago I was at FoA. While they were courtious, they could tell that I wasn't going to plunk down money that day so they weren't motivated. I even wrote to the sales agend once I got back home with a question...never returned my email. I've been to a lot of the Ferrari dealerships, just never FoCF. We still need to organize a north Florida get-together. Meet someplace between Jacksonville and Tallahassee? |

Now that would definitly be cool. "I'm dating the receptionist down at the local Ferrari dealer". I think I'll check it out around 12:30 I wonder if they would simply crank one for me. I've never heard a Ferrari in person and I've only seen glimpses on the road. Is that to big a request? Maybe that receptionist has the keys during lunch breaks. Now that could be a whole different story......... |

You're very welcome, Matt...my pleasure. Yes, they do have a rather good size boutique -- shirts, ties, hats, mugs, decals, bags, posters, calendars, car models, umbrellas, books, jackets, genuine leather luggage, etc., etc. -- most of which is Ferrari S.P.A. merchandise. I picked up a golf shirt (with shield) and a shield coffee mug when there last time. Be sure to ask Raymund about the "museum" type items on display there. They have a few unique items, like an original autographed book by Enzo (in purple of course) and an F-1 trophy that one of the mechanics there was given for helping win one of the championships back when he was working for the Ferrari F-1 team. It's a rather large and spacious showroom now. It used to be smaller, with grey indoor/outdoor carpet; but now they've expanded it, with mostly tile flooring which gives it a more open and airy feel. Getting there is a little tricky at first, especially if you don't know your way around the area. The second time we went, I used www.mapquest.com to get directions using the "shortest route" feature which was a big help. The first time, we took the exit off I-4 just past the dealership, and ended up having to make a big loop back around just to get to the right exit. Mike P., another F-Chatter here, purchased his 308 from FoCF, and he said it was a great experience. I also have a good friend who has his 360 serviced there, and has a 360 spyder on order with them -- he thinks they're a wonderful dealership as well. Oh, almost forgot...I'd recommend visiting either before lunch or after 1 PM, as they (especially the Italian mechanics) all disappear for an hour. The dealership is still open during that time, but you'll be rather lonely -- unless you just like to flirt with the receptionist . |

Thanks for the reply Eric. I didn't realize they were called Ferrari of Central Florida. I looked on there website and they have tons of great looking cars. When i make it down there I'll definitly tell them you said hello. Do they by any chance happen to sell shirts, hats, and other stuff? I saw some on a rack in a picture. I might have to pick up some stuff while I'm there. Thanks again |

Hello Matt...The fine folks at FoCF would more than welcome you at their dealership. Be sure to speak with Raymund (sales manager) -- he is passionate about F-cars and is very knowledgeable -- and an all around great guy to talk with. Also, be sure to meet Doug (parts manager) -- he'd be honored to speak with you. Hope you like cappuccino -- they always offer their customers and visitors a cup on the house. As far as inventory goes: the last time I visited their showroom was back in mid-February...at that time, they had several 360's (Modenas and Spyders), several 355's (Coupes and Spyders), a '90 TR (which I got to sit in and look over real well), a couple 550's, an F-40, a couple of 308's (both of which have been sold since), and a few Maser's. They just got a 308 QV in (black/tan), so it should be on the showroom floor by now. Back in the service area, they had several F-cars of all sorts waiting for service -- including the F-40LM (?) that caused such a furor here on F-chat a while back when it was up for some IRS auction. The TR was very tempting but the price was a little on the high side -- perhaps a test drive would have sold me . Would rather wait until I can purchase one and keep the 308 too. Just drove by the dealership last weekend while down at Disney for a few days (promised the wife and kids to bring them during the spring break), but we didn't get to stop in and visit. Hope you have a great time and memorable visit there at FoCF -- and, if you don't mind, tell all the bunch there that I said hello. |

Hi guys. I might be taking a trip down to Orlando again this year. When I went last year I saw the Ferrari dealership off the highway but they were closed. I was thinking about stopping in and checking it out. I am far from being able to afford one so i was curious as to how they are about people stopping in to just look. I have no intentions of wasting anyones time and really don't care if I'm ignored or not. Does anyone know what they currently have on display? Thanks |
