Glad to be of assistance, Jeremy. Also, it is great to hear that you've found a solid 308QV. I hope the PPI works out in your favor as well. You mentioned picking up the car this coming Friday (the 4th)? Reason I ask is that my wife has already made plans (dinner, etc.) with her family and us, so (unfortunately) I would have to pass on the invite.  Thank you, however. Next week Fri. we plan on taking the 308 down for a checkup in Longwood / Orlando area. The original owners of the shop (30 years!) are retiring, and we'd like to bid them farewell and meet the new owners too. You planning on driving the 308 back home? Sounds like fun! With regards to the leather -- this is no biggie, as it can easily be brought back to life (and redyed) with Leatherique, etc. (did mine a while back too). Keep us posted on any developments. Hey guys, First off I would like to thank Dr. Mark, and Eric for all of your help. It looks like we are going to do the deal on the 308QV. It needs a little leather care, but mechanically the car is runing strong on all eight cylinders. We should be in town late Thursday night, Picking the car up on Friday. We could stick around for dinner if anyone is interested. I will know more the closer we get. Let me know, and thanks again. JL | ||
