Now why in the world would you sell that car!! I wonder if I email him if he would let me check it out. Only 85 miles on it. No wonder I have not seen it cruising around. Good looking out Dale. I appreciate it.:-) Now I need to start saving my change.

i'm here in PCB. been down for about two months now. spoke with a fellow in a green 355 spider sunday after the race. i've seen a red 308 outside the big10 tire store on 23rd st and saw a red 348 on back beach rd the other day. destin is a good halfway point to meet in. perhaps a celebratory party after the suzuka race?

Dale,
You have no idea how bad it is for me around here. After struggling to find anyone around that can even hold a decent conversation about a Ferrari or any real exotic for that matter I have given up. Back in the day if anyone said Ferrari around here I'd jump right into conversation only to find most people are pretty clueless to them. I am not saying I am an expert by any means. Honestly i got to get a good look at a 360 for my first time last weekend but I was up in Montgomery Alabama and the owner was nowhere to be found. I sat outside this club for an hour on the curb and a half just staring at that car. I'm thinking New Orleans is going to blow my mind. Like I said before if for some reason you get lost in the 550 and end up here feel free to let me know.

Matt, I'm afraid that you might just have to concede that you are gonna be the lonelist Ferrari lover around. Now that the base has mostly shut down, P-Cola doesn't seem like an Enzo kind of town.

Now, if you were into blue-haired ladies driving Caddies, you'd been in heaven, ha!

See ya in NO.

I'm here.... Two hours east of Pensacola.

DJ -- There are about 6 Ferraris in Panama City but most of those owners don't seem to be interested in drives. I had to join the local British Car Club in order to go out on drives -- they have somewhat accepted me :-)

Dale,
I'm doing my best to make it there also. If I can get off for work I'll definitly be there. If you do keep on rolling this way let me know. You will definitly have the only 550 for miles around. No problem on the cell phone. Just let me know what you need as far as minutes and stuff goes and I'll see what I can figure out for you.

Matt, yes I remember scenic highway back when it was scenic! I remember riding a Triumph Bonneville one Summer night, musta been 1970 or so. First time I discovered steering by throttle...

About the 550, well I am scheduled to go to the big shin dig in the Big Easy during October, maybe I'll drive the rest of the way just once.

BTW, I will need a cell phone for the new business. I'll look you up probably next month.

thx

DJ man where have you been!!!! I am from Pensacola. I've been on here for almost a year now and have been dying to meet anyone from the area with a Ferrari. I ride by a guys house on my way home everyday that owns one. He keeps his outside under a cover most of the time so I have not got a good view of it but it's a great looking car. There is also a guy out on the beach with a red 360 Modena. He drives it fairly regularly I believe. There is a TR around here somewhere and I think the owner is here sometimes. I've also seen a yellow 355 convertible riding around every now and then. Supposedly a friend of mine from high school dad bought a silver 360 spider but that's unconfirmed. Have I missed anyone that you know of. Do you drive your car often? I live in Navy Point over by the Navy Base. Unfortunatly I'm not an owner but I am a big fan. If you do organize a drive somehow let me know. I'd love to meet up with you.

Dale,
If you ever ever EVER bring that 550 over here please let me know. I saw one a year ago on the Pensacola Beach bridge. It was a dark blue color heading into Pensacola. The only time I see a Ferrari is brief glimpses when they are going the opposite way. Just my luck I guess. There is one nice road called Scenic Highway (imagine that:-)) that runs along the bay that is long and has some nice twist to it. Tell you what...make it out here and I'll show you. Have a good day guys

DJ, funny you should ask because I was wondering about any good driving roads around P-Cola. Long story short, I lived in Gulf Breeze as a kid, which was a long time ago. Another long story short, I just brought my mother's house and will be starting up a new business in GB. So, I will be coming over once or twice a month to check on things. I'm thinking of stashing a car there (probably not a F-Car, maybe a Porsche or a Mini)and doing some driving around the area. I remember somewhat the area around Milton and Cold Water Creek, but don't have a clue beyond that. Didn't there used to be a track near the Navy base? Any rate, I would love to participate in any drives with you and others. Thanks

Hi, I'm not sure if there are any F-car enthusiasts that live close to the Pensacola, FL area. I would like to be able to get a group together for a nice drive and to actually meet others with an F-car. I think I've seen maybe three in this area since I've been here (including my own). I would love the opportunity to make new friends and meet others with the same interests. Thanks so much! DJ
