I had the surprise to get a call from Byron in Miami. I could tell that he had a great time with ours friends Electra and Martin. I was at a Ferrari show in Denver when they called me. Squideria Crew: I felt so at home during my Miami stay mostly impart to Martin & Marion�s generous hospitality and the ever-so-entertaining Squids! Saturday afternoon at Moroso was sooo�.hot, humid and wet � but despite the puddles we ran that track hard. Martin�s calculated precise driving was a blast and my Z06 ride was plenty exciting�just ask Byron; he ended up in the marsh with the same driver. Saturday night at *Pearl* �can we obtain one of those orange w/ pearl dangling in the cleavage little dress numbers for Martin�s next racing suit? ;) Frank, Paul, and Ken; was a pleasure to meet you. Wish we could have made that work to get you on the hot lap but that you had sme spinning experiences so I think you got all the excitement you could have handled that day. (sorry had to...) Great time with friend that weekend. Lots of smiles and lots of fun. Ken, was nice meeting you at the track as well. Wish you could have made some of the other events we had planned. Fellow East Coast Squidders... Thank you for a spectacular time in Miami this weekend. Despite all possible adverse conditions, the weekend was truly memorable. It was so great to meet all of you... Frank, I'm dying to see the cd from the Moroso track day! Great to meet you, Ken. Paul, hopefully, I'll get a ride in that 360 of yours one day! Steve, love that Dino of yours! Dave, hold onto that one - she's a crazy one! Sindo, your 308 is beautiful. You and Gaby have to take that trip to LA sometime (Frank, hint hint as well!). Pedro - too bad we didn't get to see your mondial - I guess I'll have to make another trip of it next time! William - I hope to take a ride in the 512 one day... and Electra, you are TOO WILD for me! Maybe we'll meet up with Roland and do some fancy track stuff sometime! Roberto ... enjoy that "fast" 355 of yours ;) Too bad you and your wife couldn't join us at Pearl's...next time! Just a recap... Track day at Moroso, dinner at Maranello's, Night out on the town @ Pearl, Miami Herald photo shoot, then THE MOST AMAZING brunch at Sundays at the Bay... what a Ferrari-filled weekend. WOO-HOO! And yes, hopefully Ferrari Driving Club and Squideria Calamari will become one family soon! I'd like to give some special thanks Martin (& Marion) for setting everything up for the weekend. I can't thank you enough... Martin, you are a true gentleman and an extremely generous friend. All of you are more than welcome in LA anytime - just let me know when you are in town and we will be sure to accomodate!
