I guess I have to move to Sarasota. At least we can get together for Dinner once a month. Sindo, you are forgiven. Glad your mom is okay. Better check that out. She should not wait another minute the next time she feels something is not right. My dad had one a few years back and caught it just in time. Thanks to a great medical staff in his company they could treat him when he was having symptoms. He had the stroke but contained. Left from that is only that he can not walk 100%, but 80%. No fun, I can guarantee you that. Paulie, what can I tell you. No rain through the event and lots of laughs. Hartmut and Filiz came from North and had a blast. | ||

We will have our third annual Catoberfest. Catoberfest is a Octoberfest done by our charity: Friends of Surfside Cats. We spay and neuter stray cats and also do adoptions for kittens. Catoberfest is always lots of fun with German beer from the keg and German brats. This year we have a great T-shirt with the motto "save a Cat, eat a Dog", on the front of the shirt is a Cat in Lederhosen holding up a sausage. Shirts are $15 and are good quality Hannes shirts. At Catoberfest you can eat and drink all you want. Prices are very reasonable and all profits benefit our Charity. Last year we had a couple of Ferrari guys come down and hope this year it will be more. Directions: I95 Exit "125 Street, North Miami" go east towards the beach. After 4 Miles you will pass through a toll bridge crossing the Intracoastal. Continue to "Harding Ave", also southbound A1A, and make a right (south) Come down 7 streets to 89 Street and make a right (west) all the way to the end of the street and then take the 45degree angle right and your first house on the left will be this year's "Catonia" where we will celebrate from 4:00pm to 8:00pm (likely later) |
