Glad it was resolved and you and David from Servicio could finally talk and clarify.

I understand you were upset about the missing heads. I can only imagine how I would have felt getting an F40 engine with heads missing and can not get in touch with the shop who knows where they are.

Glad it was clarified. To David's rescue, he is moving his shop right now and things surely are chaotic there. He is usually very good in responding and never intended ill on that transaction.

I see that people are making judgments before knowing the facts, here they are. I did send 24 e-mails to Servizio and made 14 phone calls over 3 weeks. I even asked a "neighbor" to check if there was life in the shop.
I'm truly sorry that I upset some people but this was my last resort and I got a phone call right away. In retrospect, I agree that my choice of words may not have been the most appropriate, but I had my back against the wall being 2000 miles away.
I apologize to the people who got disturbed by my post.

Thank you Paul Sloan for your assist. I felt that I am too close to one of the parties to join in this discussion and be fair. You can figure out which one. On the other hand, I agree with Paul's comments and the fact that this should not have been done on this forum. What happened to telephones and emails? Besides, those of us close to the real situation know what transpired. I will "bite my tongue" for the rest of the day.
From one Paul to another...thanks again.

Unbelievable.

You make allegations against a business in a public forum before you even talk to the owner of the company about the problem.

And then you say "retraction" without as much as an apology.

You are a real piece of work.

retraction.
I just got David Castelhano from Servizio on the phone and I
know where the heads are and why they were not with the motor.
This was a lack of communications from both parties. Thanks to the Chat line, things get resolved very rapidely

To answer to Paul, the facts are simples. I left a spare motor (the stock one) at Servizio while he put a new one in my F40.
I got the motor back 2 years later without the heads ??? Is this simple enough to understand ???
I just want my completed motor back. Do you know where the heads are ???

Roland,

I questioned your motives for making such a post as it would border on Slanderous if the statement is not accurate or misleading. I have met the owner of Servizo at several track events and have found him to be extremely honest and helpful at these events. While not a customer (I live on the other coast of FL)I do have many friends who are and I have heard only great things about them.

I am a firm beliver that you have left some important facts out of your claim made against Servizio.

Your choice to make this kind of post on Ferrari Chat is unfortunate.

That's nuts! I can't believe they'd send your motor back with no heads... I think Paul Bianco lives in Jupiter. You should check with him to see if he'll stop by and see what's up.

Hope it was just an honest mistake.. good luck!

2 heads from my F40 motor are missing from the Servizio shop in Jupiter Florida ??? Any one out there knows about that mysterious disapering ???
My spare motor was in a crate at Servizio's shop and now, I got the motor back but without the heads on it????
Any info about that will help. Please call at 970/493-0789 or e-mail me.
