unfortunately it does not look good for me to make it to Sebring this May event. Some how I have to get my baby to Paul in Sarasota and I do not have the time and pull vehicle at the moment.

CRAP !

hmm,
by looking at that parking lot I must say last your there had been 3 times as many cars. I hope that was at a time where most of the guys (and girls) were out someplace else.

Funny I think I was in the same hotel room. Looks like the same view I had :-)

Eric, the next FCA track event will be at Moroso in November. The Southeast region also has a great event in October in Savannah. I will put the dates up later. Remember, the FCA National Meet will be next April at Sebring.

Marcus, great pictures!

Thanks for posting pics of the event, Marcus -- sure looks like it was a blast! Really sorry we weren't able to attend, but will certainly mark the calendar for the next one.

Paul, you were there?! I am sorry that I missed you. There was a good group of old as well as new members there. The number of folks was good as it gave us a chance to get around and talk with a lot of people. When the numbers get too high you just can't do that and people feel left out, like I think Martin did last year. In any event, we had a blast.

I agree with Dilly The weather was wonderful.

Turnout did seem rather light compared to other years from what I saw and heard.

It was great to meet you Marcus in Sebring.

What a wounderful event. The weather was absolutely stunning. In the 19 years that I have been attending Ferrari Club events I can't recall better weather. The track was in great shape and the cars were flying. I got so excited about Pirelli being our sponsor that I bought a new set of slicks for the 355! For all you folks that were unable to attend, read all about it in my next article in the Prancing Horse.

An extra helmet if you want to take someone for a ride would be a good idea. I will have an extra if you need one look for me at the Ferrari of Atlanta trailer, ask for Debbie. I will be driving both days and I will be happy to give you a ride on Saturday if you are not driving. I am looking forward to meeting you. It is shaping up to be a great weekend with a lot of super people! What will you be driving?

The Mount Dora show is affilated with the FCA. They use the FCA judging guidelines and the person who puts the show on is the National FCA Membership chairman. With that said, anyone is eligible to participate. Because of the judging guidlines that are used, it is an excellent tuneup event to enter if you wish to show your car at an FCA National or at Cavallino. Don't forget the 2003 FCA National is scheduled for Florida.

David, that's great news! I will certainly be there at the next St. Armand event -- still kicking myself for missing the last one.

On a side note, I'll quite procrastinating and join the FOC and FCA clubs this week, so as to start participating in more events on the local level.

Was very interested in the Sebring Spectacular, but could not work it in the schedule -- especially since we were just down there a couple of weeks ago for the 12 Hour Sebring race. Maybe next year .

Out of curiosity, do either of the clubs participate / organize in the Mt. Dora show? I saw a lot of nice Ferrari's and met a few owners (despite the rain) and wondered if there was any sort of "club" presence there. Thanks for the fine efforts that you (and others) take so as to make Ferrari ownership fun and exciting.

Hey, maybe I am a member of a Country Club! I live in the country and I have been called "a hick from the sticks". No white gloves needed here or Martini glasses, my horses wouldn't like them. LOL

Just kidding around, last thing I want is to get thrown out.

Hey Martin, we would love to see your new ride at this event. I know you tend not to like the FCA but we are not all members of Country Clubs. Remember, it's just a car club and it's all about having fun.
