That was funny, I guess someone has to be the guy in the group that everyone messes with. a Lincoln kelly, was it the same car that the guy in the commercial driving the $500k Fountain boat said "I gotta get one of those" if so I can see you being passed, that must be one nice car.

Saw him getting dusted by a Mini Cooper while I was there.

Observations of a slow 2 valve 308.
No Problem Raceways

Of the 37 cars that went to the track on the track day of the concourso. I was passed by the following cars:
360 Challenge
F40LM
John's 328
Franco driving an M car with 400 horse power.

And I might say I was running 14inch P4000 street tires.

Who I knows how to drive now big boy.

I think it was pretty good for a SLOW 2 VALVE.

HAHA

Well I just fininshed the restoration on my 83 308 QV GTS, a brief discription of the process is as follows

Bought the car from Import One in Baton Rouge
it was Red with Black interior that color combo only looks good on SlllllllloooooooooooWWWWWWWWWWW 2 valve cars ( sorry couldn't resist, Kelly I love your car). Anyway, I got some history on the car seems it was sold new by FAF and it was Yellow/black, then hte new owner painted the black boxer bottoms on it, then the next owner painted the car Red and that was in 1988. It has been in the same hands since 88. well since I bought it, I am a stickler for originality, you can ask anyone who knows me I think they will agree. Ok, after almost completely dismanteling the car I had it stripped and primed and repainted. See the process here http://www.fortunemotors.com/cars_currently_undergoing_restor.htm anyway I got it back from the paint shop last week and have started putting it back together,. the car looks wonderful, if anyone would like to see it, it is at my house just give me a call . As soon as I have the pictures developed I will post them to my site. In the mean time i welcome anyone to come by. I have learned quite a bit more about these car since doing this and if anyone has questions about originality, or how something is supposed to work, please call.
