First, I need to go on the record as saying that I was just trying to be funny.

That said, very good, Wade! You passed.

1- Bull Run-- Stonewall Jackson. Correct.

2- Circumstantial. Correct.

3- You have to file an alternate if the weather is forcast to be really nasty up to one hour before your estimated touchdown time. Wrong. (But a very good guess)

4- A wood chuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood, but I'll give you that one because your answer was better.

5- None, Correct.

6- I don't know what acima de seu is... is it Latin? It looks Spanish, or Portugese (Italian possibly?) After much reflection and some drunken time with a Latin instructor, I had only found two ways to express "Up Yours" in Latin. The first way is the literal translation of "UP" and "YOURS" put together. This amounts to "SURSOM TUUM" (Pronounced "SEWERSOME TOO OOOM") The other way we found was the literal translation of "IN YOUR ANUS" or "IN ANUM" (Pronounced as it is spelled here). Wade, please tell me where you found your translation. One can never have too many ways to say that.

7- Correct. Basically the DG uses gyroscopic precession to detect changes in heading.

Things you never thought you'd do on Ferrari Chat.
Regards,
Erin

1. a. Bull Run
b. Beauraguard was the first but I am sure
the general you are refering to is Stone
Wall Jackson
c. He got his name from the way his troops
stood against the Union army

2. Circumstantial

3. that depends upon the aviators experience, however it is not to be taken lightly. The aviatore must be prepared to wait it out or land or turn around, but to file an alternate plan would be hasty.

4. He would chuck as much as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood

OR. 7423 butt cords of wood in a given year,
please note that this number would vary
on leap years. Also there is no chucking
on Febuary 2nd in observance of GoundHog
Day

5. none you are typing

6. acima de seu

7. Traditional Directional Gyros use a mechanically gimbaled gyro system that when erected to a gravity reference provide measurement of roll and pitch angles relative to Earth's horizontal field.

I hope I pass

1) What was the first real land battle in the civil war? What General got his nickname there and what was it?

2) I am standing outside a room when I hear a gun go off. I run into the room and find Kelly standing over the smoking carcus of a cat with a gun in his hands. Is my testimony circumstantial or direct evidence?

3) You are filing a flight plan to Kennedy and the weather is forcast IMC below minimums up until 30 minutes before your arrival time. Do you need to file for an alternate?

4) How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?

5) How many fingers am I holding up?

6) How do you say "Up Yours" in Latin?

7) How does a directional gyro work?
