Yes , Marilyn was the first "centerfold" in Playboy although she was not yet referred to as a Playmate she was the "sweetheart of the month" The early playboy centerfolds were purchased from Calendar photographers and the Monroe one was a pose from the Kelly "Red Velvet Sessiion" | ||

Bruce I know what ya mean the second copy on Playboy Vol 1 no 1 I bought had pages stuck together.( it really was water damaged) and I handle the mint copy with bare hands and that ratty copy with gloves.  | ||
