This event sounds like great fun. I hope to get a few of the Dallas contingent together to come out. Maybe Rob will have the 'Ferrarichat Challenge' car by then and he and I can tag team the drive out there. Hope to see you there! |

John As for those who pay money to ride in the challenge car and the 333SP, you could simply give them a color coded wristband denoting what they paid for. Either that or some piece of paper that acts as a receipt which is collected once the person's turn comes up. Hopefully that would make it nearly impossible for some yahoo to take advantage of this wonderful event. Best of luck with your continued efforts!!! |

That sounds great! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to come out and watch again. $50 is a drop in the bucket to see the cars out there. I am more then happy to support such a great event and heck, if lunch is thrown in for that price, even beter! |

I slightly mispoke. While this may change, at the moment only those who pay the $50.00 "passanger" fee will be allowed enterance. (this includes lunch) Opening the gates for free to the public during the last two years caused problems. You have to understand that the event costs about $100,000.00 per year to put on. Yes 100 Grand. The participants of the event spend $1,500.00 to attend. And Each year Franco and I come short of our budget and each year we pick up the balance. What has also happend is that during the track event many people have just walked into the track, helped themselves the the catered lunch, and gotten in line to ride in the 360 CHallenge car with our F1 driver. They have taken advantage. I have no problem sharing without charging, but last year many of the participants who paid $1,500 waited in line for over 3 hours to get a ride in the Challenge car with our F1 driver while people walked in off the street, paid nothing, cut in front of my guests, and made the line very very long. (to have the F1 driver and race car cost over $20,000.00) People pushed my guests aside and stole rides. So, I'm a tad pissed at people taking advantage. This year I will not let this happen. My problem is I do not yet have the manpower to solve the prolem of people taking advantage. For right now, if you want to watch, (and possibly ride) its $50.00., including lunch. If I have enough volunteers that can work the doors and act as security, I will have a separate, lower, entry fee, without lunch. But for right now I do not have those people.

"The gates WILL NOT be open to the public this year." Well, I have to say I am a little disappointed. I have gone to the last two events at NPR to watch and enjoy the sights and sounds of the cars. Isn't there a way you can charge like a $10 fee to those that want to come out and watch? It seems like you would be cutting out a lot of people that have a passion for watching the cars be tracked. Just an observation, not a flame. |

The registration forms will be online next week at VIP-LLC.com. You can download the registration forms. All inclusive price will be about $800 per person. If you are interested I'd suggest you reserve your spot EARLY by credit card. We are getting alot of national interest so if you are intersted please download the form and send it in now. I highly recommed all of you reserve your spots for the all inclusive events. Because spots will be limited I cannot garantee that spots for the concorso will be a la carte for Local Louisiana owners, like last year. We may be able to, and again we may not. So, if you wish to participate I suggest you purchase a package ticket to the event. (you will not regret it. Ive heard from people around the country that this is THE Ferrari experience on the planet) The ONLY exception will be the track day. It will be a la carte for Local Louisiana owners ONLY. The track will be $225 per driver, $50 per passanger. The gates WILL NOT be open to the public this year. So only those with advance tickets will be let it. You will lap with all of the cars in the event. At the track we will have a formula one driver giving rides in two different cars, for charity. The first will be a 333SP, if you are brave enouph. Tickets will be $1,000. If this sounds expensive, ask yourself when the next time in your life you will be able to ride in Ferrari on the track with F1-like power, with an F1 driver. (also tax deductable). The 333SP will lap the track in a 1.10 to a 1.06. (Most of the Ferraris that day will lap in the 1.40s (to give you an idea, of how fast a 1.06 is, I had someone get sick after exiting my car after a 1.32.) So you will need to be very brave and have a high constitution. Seriously, you will need to be somewhat fit to do this as the Gs will be very high. The other car will be a 360 Challenge car. You will lap the course in a 1.16. No other closed wheeled car I know has lapped NPR this fast before. Tickets will be $250. (also tax deductable) John |
