Mike a few years ago I inquired about this, and was told by FNA that the population of the central gulf coast did not merit a dealer between FoH - FoA- and FoCF. Also there was a dealer in Jackson MS a while back, but they were a subsiderary of FAF in Atlanta. there doesn't look like any hope of getting and authorized store here. Possible for Maser tho. who knows, Wade www.fortunemotors.com |

I'm told without a proven background in dealership operations- prefereably high end sales -that getting a dealership from FNA is impossible. I figure the FNA thinks "why open another dealership?" We sell all our cars with waiting lists already.

Okay, here is an idea, tell me what you think. I am sure the politics to open up one would be INSANE though. Idea: Open up a authorized Ferrari North America dealership in the New Orleans area. Reason: We are beginning to have quite a large number of F-Cars in the area and a authorized sales/service/body shop in the area would be awesome. Benefit: All F-Car owners in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge/Gulf Coast area. I know the per captia income in the area in not what it is in say LA or New York, but I think there is potential for the service to be huge. Sales would be a side item I would assume. What do you think? |
