Were any of you guys out at Twi-Ro-Pa last night? I saw a red 328 parked right in front at about midnight.

YOU GUYS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit that everyone on here is totally amazing. Dale, Dave, John, and Paul thanks a bunch. Living in the land of Mopar can be rough on a guy with a thing for exotics. I hope to see you all there and will be in touch as soon as I arrive.:-)

I should have some seat time available.
Be glad to share the experience since others were generous before I had a car of my own.
I think you'll find that attitude pretty common here.

Mandy,

I am a member at English Turn. I believe that they charge about $150 a round for out of town guests.

You can have someone from the proshop at his club take care of arranging a tee time for him.

Money Hill is also an excellent course, but a little further away from New Orleans.

Since the only requirements(according to Roland) is that the cars be hot and red, I've faxed in my registration for my #19 Make-A-Wish Foundation Challenge 360. It's red,and I'll let you guys decide if the car is hot!

To my local ferrari friends:

Our yearly event is filling up very quickly. There are people from all over the country, and a few from Europe, that are filling up our spots. I've gone through the confirmed list and I seen that there are many local guys that have not signed up or sent in registrations.

Dont wait, guys, it will fill up, and you run the risk of missing something very special in your own backyard. Please register today.

Since this is in Louisiana ... is it safe to guess non-legal street cars are legal .... i.e.; Challenge cars are welcome ???? Tell Franco I say hi!

I just spoke to Kelly regarding the New Orleans event. Apparently some entry forms were mailed out by mistake with itemized prices from last year. If you recieved one of these, I appologize for the mistake. By the time we caught the mistake 5 or 6 people recieved these. We've since recieved several requests to cancel checks and be sent an itemized bill for these lower charges. Please note that if you recieved one of these bills it was in error. I'm very sorry this happened. (although those of you who wish for a refund can still have it)

The price for the event is an inclusive price of $795 per person. As I discussed earlier, we will have an itemized separate fee for LA. Chapter members only which will allow them to purchase a ticket to the track event ONLY without full entry to the event. The price has not been decided on but may be in the $250-$300 range. The concorso MAY be open on a similar a la carte basis. But for now we only have spots for the entire event.

This is necessary because the itemization in the last few years has been very difficult and frought with problems.(which resulted in the promoters (Franco and I) being $20,000 in the red last year, the third year we cut checks for being in the red) Could we organize something cheaper, yes. But we would not be able to bring to New Orleans all of the spectacular cars, people, and allow us to do all of the crazy spectacular things we do. We want to keep a very high quality level to the event.

The spots to the event are filling up very fast. After July 1 the prices of the remaining packages go up. I know it is expensive (althought not as expensive as traveling and going to Cavillino (which does not do as much), and a lot cheaper than similar high standard events such as the "scudi" tour which runs over $5,00-7,000 per person. I know that $795 is alot but this is a world class event in your backyard and you should do what you can to come. Come to experience it yourself and come to help support us to keep this event in New Orleans.

Hope to see you there.
