I love it how the PCA comes in like the swat team, bustin down doors to set the record straight... Do you honestly think anyone from FERRARIchat is gonna show up to street race their $200,000 car. I think we can safely assume anyone on this board, if going, would be going to check out the autox and not to drag race Hondas... I love it how they say street racing wont be tolerated by the Porsche Club of America, lol. I wouldn't want the PCA after me... And yes, I realize that some people recently signing on here are from autostream, but still. Relax a little. | ||

Are any NJ guys going out to this thing? I don't think the 308 is gonna be together for this thing but I'd like to go. I've run into a problem with one of the head studs on the destra head, ridiculously stuck and it needs to come out cause the threads decided to flatten at around 70 ft lbs (needs to go to 75). So, I took the engine from 75% together back to a bare block on the destra side and lowerend, with the sinistra head still on and the sinistra pistons hanging from that side. It wont take me long to get it back together once the stud is out, all the bearings, etc. are rebuilt already since I did that the first time it went together. Regardless, just wondering if anybody from our little NJ group is up for me bumming a ride if they're going? We don't do enough Fcar runs around here, would be cool to start with the rallyfreak guys as they seem to have quite a bit of fun in a casual setting as opposed to most of the FCA things which are cool if you're into driving slow and looking at scenic gardens and other gay stuff. | ||

haha, i was bad mouthing the owner of ferrari chat in the midst of an argument, i even stated on this forum that he is not like any ferrari owner i know, and no i was not banned i got a semi apology from mr Lay...read the players run thread then go back to the other forum and read that thread...usually when you disagree with the head of a forum they ban you, I started that thread figuring i was getting banned, but i didn't so i guess its all good now | ||

i was there last year for the first one, went out had a good time and talked about it on the internet, then a few weeks later at the next auto X everyone and their sister with a supra or a wrx went out there , screwed around too much and cops had to come in...so it was fun until people had to ruin it...I didn't go to the second one where they attracted the cops but from the sounds of it they made a bunch of wrong decisions and a lot of reckless stunts...so by inviting all the usual suspects from all boards i dont see how there is going to be anything but a repeat performance, anyone interested in going out, but want more details as to how things work...email me at [email protected] (there is actually a great 90+ second high speed auto-x that goes on) | ||

This is a car show w/ autox, I'm warning people not to race or do anything stupid, thats all. This is not just a supra meet, I picked this time because its nice to watch the autocross and you will see a lot of nice cars. I'm just warning everyone to not race on ocean parkway or anywhere near it | ||

So we will have our meet the same day since they have a permit for the lot. The turnout of sports cars last year was absolutely insane. *NOTE* I don't want anything like what happened last year to happen, so please DO NOT do burnouts or donuts in the parking lot. Also the racing on ocean parkway with people standing on the median was EXTREMELY dangerous and we are lucky it didn't turn ugly, this cannot happen again. The meet cannot end the same way the last one did. This meet is to bring your car to show and to meet members from many different car clubs, their cannot be any racing on ocean parkway at all. Listen, Scott and Robert are both nice people. I dating Scotty for two years..blah, blah ,blah, its over. Yes, i know rob from tobay a yr ago, yada, yada, yada.I was in scotts car for the race, i video taped the whole thing. Scott won, dont let them fool you. I am not with him anymore, but racing is one of my favorite hobbies, and ill stick up for the winner. No soap opera, just a story. I really dont care to talk about my ex, or what went on ever.I went to meet robert again in New Jersey, and roger, the guy scott raced. They were great, had a ball. The end. ps. Scott isnt a little kid, he wouldnt put his hands on people. He wouldnt fight over me, nor is he jealous over me.We are over eachother, we are just friends. He honestly doesnt care who i talk too. ok here's the deal i met bonnie on long island last year at an exotic car get together...my friends were there racing up and down ocean parkway and we were told of this local guy who has "never lost" so of course we got scared turned around and went home .... Just kidding we said "bring it" and waited an hour for him to get there, bonnie was in his car and thats where i first saw her...then we went out and raced and it was pretty bad...my friends supra walked up on the undefeated porsche (bonnies ex) as if he was tied to a tree. Then he talked all sorts of crap online, not that it was towards me or anything, but i've just gotten the impression that i dont like him. never said more then 5 words to him... well except for our romantic weekend in the US Virgin Islands...(well they are not virgin anymore) LOL Hope this clarifies | ||
