love is in the air - how far away from each other are you guys. I remember when I was young, I dated the girl next door and while that had its downside it was great when we were snowed in :-)

Bonnie
What are we talking about? Last night on speedvision there was a show that featured Ferrari race and GT cars from 1950 through the 90ies (333) Des was curious about the round white circles painted of some of the cars. I tried to answer. The MK-IV I referred to is one of my cars. As I keep telling Des if you really want to learn about these cars you have to read. There are several great books and If you scearch this site you'll find interesting info. For you,as well as Des I'd reccomend "A French Kiss with Death" It's the story of the making of the movie LeMans starring Steve McQueen. I'd also pick up a copy of LeMans and watch it as well; perhaps with Des. If you are really interested in these cars you will enjoy this very much.

Dont worry I take VERY good care of her. She can complain about NOTHING. She is a good person, just a little selfish sometimes. By the way, her cooking beats any resturant.. hands down. Be careful, if you smacked me back, I might like it.

i see, thanks for clarifying that...

The 312 BP had the deepest, throatiest roar in my opinion, but there was something about that 333 SP that seemed to speak for itself... Very nice show- i recall watching it once, before, but it's always nice to watch it over and over again... Unbelievable... Thanks for the look-out, James... :-)

The round spots (Rondels) are for numbers which were different at different races. After the race the numbers were removed until the next race next number. As my MK-IV only raced once it still has it's race number 2 the number it had when it ran at LeMans. Some very famous cars retain the number of their greatest victory as most vintage race officials let them run with that number as a curtesy.

20 after 9, but still not too late- thanks James... :-)
Bonnie- come over...? i wouldn't dream of it- i should have my car this week- you shouldn't have to drive, i'd be happy to pick you up... :-)

James why do these cars have white spots on them...? i could understand if they used to have numbers in there, but the spots, themselves are in weird places...

Hey, i like those overpriced, crowded dinners!! Think about the women here, gentlemen!! Your lucky we dont make you do it more than three times a year, considering our b-days, anniversary, and v-day, so say thank you instead of complaining! We could make you do it three times a month!!

I gave my significant other a slap on the ass and then she cooked my whole family dinner. I always considered it a Hallmark holiday and never celebrated it. Luckily, she doesn't believe to much in the V-Day hype either. She would rather a nice meal at home rather than me pay crazy prices at the overcrowded resturants. Now I see what it is really supposed to be and agree with Tim. God bless the Romans! Bring back tradition.

I did however buy my 308 a nice new set of floor mats.

-----------"Valentine's Day actually originated from pagan rituals where 5th century Roman men would pick, from a lottery, a name of one of the teenage girls in the community. she would then be his sexual partner for the remainder of the year. This was one of the man's priviledges as right of passage to manhood.

So,... How the hell did we get strapped into buying chocolate and flowers and jewels and begging?!! I say keep your dammned chocolate. Let's get that lottery going again! To all of you woman readers... if you're already with a man, he shouldn't have to send you crap! He should be able to go back out to the lottery for a fresh pick!"
this is funny. i dont know if that guy is right about how valentines day started, but its funny none the less.---------

this was my AOL instant messanger away message for most of the day. its amusing, imo.

ONly person who got flowers from me was my mom. I sent her potted flowers that she could use for a centerpiece on a table or something. my mom doesnt like getting boquets because they die, she would rather have a plant that she can add to the 10,000 plants that are already in the house. i guess my gift is just 3 more things for me to trip over because she seriously keeps flats of flowers that she is growing for her gardens right in front of a sliding glass door, so when i come home late at night and the lights are off and my motor skills are impaired, i always end up knocking them over...

anyway, im alone here too but not because i have a lack of people to be with, but because i have a race tomorrow and i need rest, and i also gotta rest the legs, so that means i cant get out of this comfortbale chair.
