Hutch:

I know the story of about the TR with the engine in the front. Bruce told me about it. I spoke with Phil Tegtmeier who is head judge at New Hope and he just laughed. They had some problems with the regular judges not showing up because of the weather. Even so, why would anyone think the engine of a TR was in the front?

I'll be meeting WMHART somewhere on 287 south and we'll head off to Reading. Anyone else going that way from Westchester or CT? It's always cool to have more Ferraris in a group.
DJMONK -Can you make it?
Kenny Herman - If DJMONK can't make the show, then shotgun seat is open in my TR if you're game...
Please post up and let me know fellas!!! - Hutch

Vernon:

We meet in either Moorestown or Cinnaminson to drive over. There are usually 4 of us (Boxer, 355, Mondial, 308QV) that travel to Reading. My wife will be on the boat this weekend with my son, so I will be alone. Feel free to call or email me for more info if you want to join us.

Tell me about Reading concours. What was the concours going on when I was up in NYC last year? Greenwich? When is that one?

How many Ferraris does each one usually get?

Vernon: my wife will be coming, as well. If we leave from Westchester, head toward the TZ Bridge, how does that fit your route? You are welcome to meet at my house if that makes any sense, but seeing that you are already in Joisey, where could you join us along the way, if we are travelling down 287? You can email me at [email protected] to coordinate. Regards.

I believe I am now attending with my better half.

Is anyone else bringing their wives?

Is there a time or place for people to meet up or is just a free for all?

I was not planning to go but was able to get some work around the house done yesterday so next weekend might be freeing up, I may just take a drive - I could meet you guys on 287 as you come across the bridge. BTW, I notice WWOC is having their tech day on the same day? poor planning?

I'm in Westchester, not far from the Tappan Zee. Assuming clear weather, i'd probably leave pretty early, get there early, eat some burgers and dogs rather than wait for the dining room, and then head home by, say, 2pm. I never wait for the judging, or go into to the club...

Registration fee is $65 to show your car, but I do not know if they charge for "walk-ins". The bulk of the fee is for the dinner, so maybe they would discount the price for spectators. I do not know. The show is held at the Reading Country Cluib which is a private club and has secured parking. If you show your car you can park on the field. Show is from 10-4 PM

Ken,

I had a problem accessing the private message function so here are a couple of questions:

1. Will there be safe parking for Ferraris being driven to the event?

2. Same question as Kevin Butler - what will the fee be for walk ins?

3. What is the time schedule for the day?

Thanks for any detail you can provide.

Andy

Just a reminder that May 18th is the Reading, PA Concours. Turn out is usually 100+ Ferrari's. Email me for more details.
