Guys, I have to cancel this date due to the park still being closed for winter. I was unable to find anybody that would give me any info.
If you still want to come out I can take you for a short run and we can finish at a local burger joint that has plenty of parking and outside seating. Let me know if you are still interested.

Weather.com claims that there should be 0% percipitation for sunday. Finally an event that might not get rained out!

Depends on whether my wife is with me, or finds something "better" to do. Also, the weather,.. but let's stay in touch by phone. Wouldn't mind a drive in the morning if everything lines up.

Roads up here in Pa. are great for a weekend drive, Excellent winding roads and beautiful views. can`t wait till the warm weather arrives to stay.
Ef, My shop is on sawkill road just about 2 miles outside of Milford, Pa. (First Place Auto). E-mail me if you need anything or directions.

I'm near Bear Mnt and 7-lakes. The road to the park is not great but not too bad. I just drove there. It looks like the park might be still cosed since I can't find anybody. I have a second location in mind too. Let's hope for sun because it looks like rain now.

The roads are fine. And yes the parking is paved. I'm having hard time to find the right person to get the permit. I'll post more details as I get them.

You guys are really brave!! My wife and I went to our place in Pa this past weekend, and the roads, from the Cross Island, over the Throgs Neck, and up 95 to the Tappan Zee were HORRIBLE!! If we were in our E55 or the 550, I would have be screaming with anger!! Even our ML500 was bouncing around; we hit some lane-wide potholes that were inDEScribable. No way to avoid them, and there were frost heaves the width of the roadway that just hit with a BANG!! Be REALLY careful!!

El diablo is throwing a BBQ on 7 lakes drive, he is getting the permit from the park etc, so we will have ample parking and no one can bother us, very senic area with nice roads to and from... Its $10 a person for food and drink, dont think there will be alcohol, but thats probably negotiable LOL... anyway just throwing a heads up, i am sure he will post more details :-)
