I've just imported a car from Vancouver. It's a 1984 15th anniversary Trans Am. Although I had heard that there is a requirement to change the gauges, I'm not changing the gauges and the car will be here in about two weeks. I'll let you know if there is a problem, but I doubt it. J |

It might require a SARS "dip" , prior to inspection in N.J. |

I own an '87 328 GTS (Canadian Production) that I would like to bring with me when I move from Toronto, Canada to New Jersey. To register the car in NJ, will I be required to change the speedometer/odometer from kilometers to miles? Does registering the car as a collector car affect the answer? The NJ MVC website is silent on these questions. Many thanks in adavnce. |
