Actually there are many variables to consider one being stuck behind an older driver and or a truck all the way from Stratton to Brattleboro for starters. I also have a severe handicap which is my truck which is ready and willing to induce severe topplesteer at anything over 70. I was hoping to get my S2k for this trip but it looks like it's not gonna make it in time. Back in the day when I had my Yamaha crotch rocket I could make the 180 mile trip from Vt to R.I. in a bit over 2 hours but those days are over for me. |

I made it from my house in westchester to Wilmington in 3 hours (or maybe 2:45, im not really sure, but i think it was 2, 45.) in my MINIVAN. At 6AM you can really move on 91. It then took me another hour to get to stratton because i am severly retarded, didnt realize that i put the adress for the VILLAGE of stratton, VT into mapquest, and not the ski area. I ended up on a dirt road. After 15 minutes on the dirt road i figured out that something wasnt right. If i was home it would be worth the 15 minute drive for me. Also, if they ahve the same setup as last year, you can save $20 (or whatever it was) on admission by going in through the audi tent. |

Guys I can believe it is worth it but 3.5 hours there and 3.5 hours back is a lot of car time and I don't know to many of my buddies that would want to spend that much time in the car. Erik |

3 1/2 HOURS FROM VERMONT???!! A snail could do it quicker!!! My personal best time from Darien, CT to Wilmington, VT is 2 hours 24 minutes!! With no stopping for gas or anything else!! And in my old '94 jeep cherokee!! Now, my brother did the same trip in 1 hour 42 minutes on his CBR 900 F2 with one stopover for gas. Robert - Hop on your sled and shoot down on that!! (of, course you'll have to take off the studs and carbides, etc. etc.) It'll take far less time!! Hope to see you there and meet you!!! |

Bruce, Sunday is the day you want to go. Saturday is pre-war cars. If you're into that kind of stuff, then i guess it's worth it. |

Bruce Sat has more US cars hence my Duesy and Sun usually has more european and Ferrari's. That said it's not in stone. A friend is bringing an Enzo (Red) and I think WM will be there with his Barchetta. Nice group of people and even a vintage airplane and vintage boats. Best Jim |

Does the Greenwich show usually have a pretty good turnout? I'm thinking of making the trek from Rochester to check it out. I'd visit friends while I was out there also but the show would be the main reason for the trip. |

Erik, it depends on where in PA you are from. If you are from somewhere close to the border, like allentown, thenits worth the 1 and a half hour (if you drive a little fast) to the greenwich show. If you are from philly, then probably not so much. Im only aoubt 2 and a half hours away and im not going, but i'd seriously consider going if i wasnt participating in the relay for life which raises $ for cancer research. Rob, we should devise some sort of fchat secret handshake, just so we know whos in.... |

Rob, I believe (I'll double check)- that WHart's 550 Barchetta will be there so that'd be a good place to meet- maybe around 1? I'll ask him and we can post the other members to meet us there too. |

Greenwich should have some great cars. We will be there showing a Lotus 340R and Lotus Exige. The 340R is very cool and rare. I think there are only 11 of them in the US. |

Are there any shows or get togethers coming up in PA or NJ in the next few weeks? When this weather finally changes I can't wait to get around and check out the cars. I was in reading last weekend and they were amazing. Anything else like it in the Northeast? Erik |
