Tom, it looks great. I'll bet passersby did doubletakes seeing a Ferrari on the go in the snow!

Enjoy it in good health!

Ricky, Vinny and Joe (his brother) run a small shop. They're great. They did a major on my 328 back in February; $3K including A/C charge. They're accommodating, easy to talk to, honest (I believe), and none of that bullsh*t attitude you sometimes get with dealers.

Won't be there, unfortunately I can't make it this year, although I'd love to see some pics of the 3.2 (if you have any, please post!).

Dave,
Thanks ! Glad to be here. I absolutely love driving the Mondial every day. In fact,in 2001,prior to my stroke , when I was driving her into work every day, I racked up 20M miles . Yes, it's true, I use it as my daily driver.
As for driving in NY----I do it all year long. The only thing is that, when it snows, I waith for the roads to be plowed, then i'm gone ! Road salt and all :-)
Are you going to Pocono this weekend ? I'll probably go up on Sunday.

Tom, welcome to the 'chat!

BTW, how do you like the 3.2 coupe? I test drove one once, but I wonder what it's like to drive the 3.2 every day, especially here in NY.

I've normally done my own work on the car but lately i've had to take the MONDIAL to WWOC for a major service. I was welcomed and treated with fairness and honesty. Previously I had only known the parts crew and was always treated very well. Now i've become friends with the service group.
A top notch organization. I wouldn't hesitate to send any friend there.

Don't mention Jim's name...!

When i was there, he introduced me to Sal and for the rest of the afternoon, Sal treated me nice...

...you don't wanna be treated nicely when you're in a dealership, it's a very eerie feeling. :-)

Ricky, i think he charged me just around $3K for the 355 and $4K for the TR. His work is very good and reliable. Vinny's phone number is 201-947-2371. you can tell him Eli Youssian recommended you. also he just did any fellow f-chaters 328 len and was very happy with him

Ricky, Vinny used to be with WWOC and he has his own shop now. he is very well known and reputable and has done major on my TR and 355. His work is excellent and not pricey. The guys at the Ferrar of Long Island take him up for the challenge races all the time.

Miller installed new fog lights on my 348 spider, and did something to the wiring harness. The result: a dead battery, a flatbed trip and a rewire. I have used WWoC a number of times without a hitch; even though i didn't buy any ferraris from them (yet) they pick up my car in an enclosed trailer and return it to my house without a problem after completing work. They also saw to it that new wheels were installed on the barchetta, and they obviously have a good working relationship with FNA. They also work on old ferraris; a guy in my town owns a number of old cars, including an old 250 race car, which WW services for him. I know jim g. also thinks very highly of WW. Between those two dealers, there is no comparison in my experience.

Never been to WWoC. As for Miller, they did a poor job on my 308 back in July '00, and weren't happy to have a new customer. I took my business to an independent (Autosport Designs, in Mineola), and they've been great.
