Thanks for all the input guys. I'll go with WWOC.
The insurance issue was a false alarm. Turns out I just needed to have the car photo inspected. My agent neglected to tell me about this.

Thanks again

John, without any hesitancy I recommend WWOC. Nice, honest people who do quality work. And yes, they are a dealer.
As for doing the major service now---- I would wait and do it at the recommended interval in the owner's manual. Mine recommended replacement at 52,000 miles. I had it done by WWOC at about 40,000 and 10+ years. Just a data point. Good luck.

John,

I'm in north Jersey and use Auto Elite in Ft. Lee for service, and Leyland West collectors insurance.

John,
Congrats on the ride...car looks friggin mint in silver! A buddy of mine lives near Rumson and he uses Classic Coach in Elizabeth...they've been there 35 years and do sales, service and body shop. Call Rocky at 908.352.3939 I just used them for a complete brake job...satisfied.

More importantly, mark your calendar for Bruce's shin dig...it'll be GREAT!

Cheers,

TTG

John, where in NJ are you located? WWoC is a Ferrari dealer. For service they will come flat-bed your car to the dealer. They also have a yearly free tech-inspection day. Highly recommended.
Insurance in NJ sucks. I have Liberty Mutual, no milage limits.

6 weeks ago I purchased a '99 360 F1 with 5,800 miles on it. Question #1 There is no dealer nearby but a number within 120 miles. There is Ferrari of Long Island, Miller in Connecticut and Algar in Philadelphia. Also Wide World of Cars near Tapanzee although I dont think they are a dealer. What kind of experience has the board had with these respective shops for service? I'm willing to take it to any of them. Who do you recommend?
- Question #2 should I have a 15k service done now that the car is 4 yrs old even though it only has 6k? Im thinking particularly of the cam belts. - Question #3. Insurance, I Insured the car with First Trenton Indemnity where all my other cars are. Today, July 7th I received a letter dated 7/3 in the mail stating my damage coverage was cancelled effective 5/23 (it was started 5/15). Is that even legal? Can they notify me that my damage coverage was canceled effective over a month ago? what if I was in an accident yesterday?? Does anyone have any suggestions who else to use to insure a 360 (and then my 5 other cars) in NJ? Any help on any of these questions is greatly appreciated.
I posted this in the General discussion area then realized it is probably more relevant here.
